The Houston Texans and Indianapolis Colts are each fighting for a playoff spot tonight, making this a pivotal Week 18 matchup. But which players in this Texans vs. Colts matchup should you count on to deliver for their team tonight? Let’s get right into our favorite touchdown scorer bets.
Texans vs. Colts Touchdown Scorer Bets
Nico Collins (+130 at DraftKings)
Soppe: I like getting cute with these TD picks as much as anyone, but let’s keep it simple here:
- Alpha target earner
- Promising QB
- Motivated team
- Sixth-worst scoring defense
Collins has scored or seen 8+ targets in each of his past six healthy games, proving himself a borderline matchup-proof option in this ascending offense.
When these teams first met, Collins combined with Tank Dell and Robert Woods to see 65.1% of C.J. Stroud’s targets. Well, Dell is out for the season, and Woods’ status for this game is in question. Collins is my favorite Texan in this market this week, and it’s not priced that way.
Dalton Schultz (+250 at FanDuel)
Blewis: After scoring zero touchdowns in the first three weeks of the season, Dalton Schultz got into the end zone in five of his next seven games. Since then, however, Schultz hasn’t scored a touchdown, and now that it has been over a month, he is long overdue.

Even despite going four straight weeks without a touchdown, and in five of his six previous games, Schultz still leads the Texans in red-zone target share. At odds like these, it’s worth taking a chance, especially considering the value, as Schultz’s anytime touchdown odds are just +150 at DraftKings.
C.J. Stroud (+600 at ESPN BET)
Rolfe: This is really just a case of eying the value of a quarterback with three rushing touchdowns this season going against a defense that has allowed opposing QBs to score twice in the last four weeks — Jake Browning and Mitchell Trubisky.
C.J. Stroud is not a scrambling QB, but he is more than capable of using his legs to make a play. In a must-win game for the Texans, look for Stroud to potentially have a shot at scoring either via scramble or on a QB sneak type of play.
