Fitzpatrick has missed the Steelers’ last two games but managed limited practices on Wednesday and Thursday and has a chance to suit up on Sunday.

Ravens: Baltimore clinched the AFC’s No. 1 seed in Week 17, so the club has nothing to play for on Sunday. Tyler Huntley will start in place of Jackson under center, while the Ravens will hold out other veterans like Beckham and Zeitler.

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (Saturday)

TexansHouston is facing a must-win game against the Colts in Week 18, but several of their key contributors are dealing with injury issues. With Brown and Woods sidelined, Nico Collins, John Metchie III, and Xavier Hutchinson will be C.J. Stroud’s top three receivers.

Colts: Moss fully practiced this week after missing Indy’s last two games with a forearm injury. He should return as Jonathan Taylor’s primary backup as the Colts fight for their playoff lives in Week 18.

    Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals

    • Browns: WR Amari Cooper, OUT (heel/rest); WR Elijah Moore, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Marquise Goodwin, QUESTIONABLE (knee); EDGE Myles Garrett, OUT (shoulder/hamstring); LB Jordan Kunaszyk, QUESTIONABLE (calf); CB Greg Newsome, OUT (knee); CB Mike Ford, OUT (calf); S Juan Thornhill, OUT (calf); K Dustin Hopkins, OUT (left hamstring); P Corey Bojorquez, QUESTIONABLE (left quadricep)
    • Bengals: WR Tee Higgins, DOUBTFUL (hamstring); CB Chidobe Awuzie, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); CB Jalen Davis, QUESTIONABLE (groin)

BrownsHaving already secured the AFC’s No. 5 seed, Cleveland has nothing to play for in Week 18. The Browns already announced that QB Jeff Driskel will start in place of Joe Flacco, while head coach Kevin Stefanski won’t chances with other banged-up veterans like Cooper, Newsome, and Thornhill.

Bengals: Higgins did not practice this week after injuring his shoulder in Week 17. Head coach Zac Taylor said the Bengals will decide on Higgins’ status for the regular-season finale on Saturday. But Higgins is unlikely to play with Cincinnati already eliminated from postseason contention.

    Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions

VikingsMinnesota can still make the playoffs, but it needs to win in Week 18 while receiving a lot of help. As such, the team might sit contributors dealing with even a minor issue. The club’s offensive line and secondary are incredibly banged up heading into Sunday’s action.

Lions: Detroit can only end up as the NFC’s No. 2 or No. 3 seed, but head coach Dan Campbell suggested he will play his starters against the Vikings. McNeil, Houston, and Gardner-Johnson are still on IR but will add depth to the Lions’ defense if they can return for the playoffs.

    Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans

    • Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence, QUESTIONABLE (right shoulder/left finger); WR Christian Kirk, QUESTIONABLE (groin); WR Zay Jones, QUESTIONABLE (knee/hamstring)

JaguarsLawrence, sidelined in Week 17, returned for a limited practice on Wednesday. He participated in individual drills but did not appear to attempt a pass during the portion of practice open to the media. Lawrence has been limited throughout the week, and head coach Doug Pederson said he’ll be a game-time decision.

Jacksonville wins the AFC South with a victory over the Titans, but it could be eliminated from the playoffs altogether with a loss. C.J. Beathard will make another start if Lawrence can’t go.

Kirk has been designated to return from injured reserve (IR). The Jaguars’ WR2 has been out since Week 13, but he’s also a game-time call for Sunday. Jones is expected to suit up.

Titans: Levis returned from an ankle injury only to hurt his foot after attempting six passes in Week 17. On Wednesday, the rookie QB said his new ailment is “annoying, but not too serious.”

Levis failed to practice on Wednesday but returned for a limited session on Thursday. While he’s technically questionable, head coach Mike Vrabel ruled Levis out on Friday, clearing the way for Ryan Tannehill to start Tennessee’s season finale.

New York Jets at New England Patriots

    • Jets: QB Aaron Rodgers, OUT (Achilles); QB Zach Wilson, OUT (concussion); TE Jeremy Ruckert, OUT (concussion); G Wes Schweitzer, DOUBTFUL (calf); C Jake Hanson, OUT (concussion)

JetsRodgers was never expected to play this season despite being activated from IR, while Wilson is still in the concussion protocol. Trevor Siemian will make another starter for Gang Green.

Patriots: Henry missed the last two games with a knee injury but was limited on Wednesday and Thursday. However, a Friday DNP likely eliminated the veteran TE’s chance of suiting up in Week 18.

Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints

Falcons: Atlanta is hopeful Heinicke can play in the regular-season finale after injuring his ankle in Week 18. Desmond Ridder will take back over under center if Heinicke — who was limited all week — can’t go in a must-win game. Heinicke is expected to be a game-time decision.

Saints: Whichever team wins this game will win the NFC South title if the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lose in Week 18. New Orleans is dealing with more injury problems than Atlanta heading into Sunday’s action.

Kamara failed to practice this week after spraining his ankle on Sunday. Head coach Dennis Allen said Kamara will be a game-time decision. Jamaal Williams will see the bulk of the carries if Kamara doesn’t play this week, while Miller will likely mix in.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers

    • Buccaneers: QB Baker Mayfield, QUESTIONABLE (ribs); WR Trey Palmer, QUESTIONABLE (hip); WR Rakim Jarrett, QUESTIONABLE (quadriceps); TE Ko Kieft, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); LB K.J. Britt, QUESTIONABLE (calf); CB Carlton Davis, QUESTIONABLE (concussion)
    • Panthers: G Cade Mays, DOUBTFUL finger); EDGE Marquis Haynes, OUT (concussion); LB Tae Davis, QUESTIONABLE (illness); CB Jaycee Horn, QUESTIONABLE (toe); K Eddy Pineiro, DOUBTFUL (right hamstring)

BuccaneersAlthough Mayfield is listed as questionable, he fully practiced on Friday, and head coach Todd Bowles said Mayfield will against the Panthers. Tampa Bay will win the NFC South if it beats Carolina in Week 18, but the club will be out of the playoffs altogether with a loss.

Panthers: Carolina can play spoiler by taking down Tampa Bay in Week 18. The Panthers will likely need to promote kicker Matthew Wright from their practice squad to replace Pineiro on Sunday.

Chicago Bears at Green Bay Packers

Bears: Mooney, who sat out last week’s game with a brain injury, still isn’t practicing. Kmet played on Sunday but was limited to 13 snaps and was not targeted; he was upgraded to limited on Thursday and fully practiced on Friday.

The Bears added Herbert to their injury report on Thursday. If he can’t play in Week 18, Roschon Johnson and D’Onta Foreman will handle Chicago’s backfield work.

Packers: It’s all hands on deck for Green Bay in Week 18. Beat the Bears, and the Packers are in the playoffs as a Wild Card team.

Dillon returned from a broken thumb to play in Week 17, but a neck stinger will keep him out of Green Bay’s regular-season finale. The Packers will lean on Aaron Jones, who’s topped 120 rushing yards in back-to-back games.

At receiver, Reed should be expected to play after fighting through a chest injury last week. Wicks, who fully practiced all week, should also be available. Watson’s missed four games with ongoing hamstring issues but managed limited practices ahead of Week 18, only sitting out Friday’s session for extra rest.

Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders

    • Broncos: TE Chris Manhertz, OUT (illness); OT Mike McGlinchey, OUT (ribs)
    • Raiders: RB Josh Jacobs, OUT (quad); FB Jakob Johnson, QUESTIONABLE (back); TE Michael Mayer, OUT (toe); OT Thayer Munford, DOUBTFUL (knee/illness); CB Brandon Facyson, OUT (illness)

Broncos: McGlinchey and Manhertz won’t play this week, but contributors like WR Courtland Sutton (concussion), WR Marvin Mims Jr. (hamstring), and edge rusher Baron Browning (concussion) returned to full practices on Thursday and are good to go against Las Vegas.

Raiders: Jacobs has already missed three games and has no reason to return now that Las Vegas has been officially eliminated from the playoffs. He’s scheduled to hit the open market in 2023, provided the Raiders don’t franchise tag him again. Fellow RB Zamir White has seen 20+ touches in each of Jacobs’ absences.

Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants

    • Eagles: RB D’Andre Swift, QUESTIONABLE (illness); WR DeVonta Smith, OUT (ankle); CB Darius Slay, OUT (knee)
    • Giants: C John Michael Schmitz, QUESTIONABLE (shin); CB Deonte Banks, DOUBTFUL (shoulder); S Jason Pinnock, OUT (toe)

EaglesSmith was in a walking boot after Sunday’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals and didn’t practice all week. He will miss the first game of his career in Week 18 but will try to get healthy for the postseason.

Meanwhile, the Eagles’ secondary is getting healthier. Slay has missed three straight games but was a limited practice participant on Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out Friday’s session. The veteran CB is likely eyeing the Round 1 of the playoffs for a return.

Giants: Dane Belton posted two interceptions after replacing Pinnock last week and will start at safety against Philadelphia.

    Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

    • Seahawks: OT Abraham Lucas, OUT (knee); OT Jason Peters, QUESTIONABLE (foot); G Phil Haynes, OUT (toe); EDGE Mario Edwards, OUT (knee); DT Jarran Reed, QUESTIONABLE (knee); LB Jordyn Brooks, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); LB Nick Bellore, QUESTIONABLE (knee)
    • Cardinals: WR Zach Pascal, QUESTIONABLE (hamstring); OL Elijah Wilkinson, QUESTIONABLE (illness); EDGE Dennis Gardeck, QUESTIONABLE (knee); EDGE Victor Dimukeje, QUESTIONABLE (foot); DT Leki Fotu, QUESTIONABLE (hand); CB Garrett Williams, OUT (ankle); S Andre Chachere, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)

Seahawks: RB Kenneth Walker III has been battling a shoulder injury recently and hasn’t been practicing on Wednesdays or Thursdays. He continued that trend ahead of Week 18 but will be ready for Sunday’s must-win game.

Cardinals: Left tackle D.J. Humphries tore his ACL in Week 17 and will be placed on IR. Given how late in the season he injured his knee, Humphries may not be ready for the start of the 2024 season.

Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Chargers

    • Chiefs: QB Patrick Mahomes, DOUBTFUL (rest); RB Isiah Pacheco, QUESTIONABLE (concussion/shoulder); WR Rashee Rice, OUT (hamstring); WR Kadarius Toney, OUT (hip/ankle); OT Donovan Smith, OUT (neck); EDGE George Karlaftis, QUESTIONABLE (rest); EDGE Mike Danna, QUESTIONABLE (rest); LB Nick Bolton, QUESTIONABLE (wrist/abdomen); CB L’Jarius Sneed, OUT (calf); CB Trent McDuffie, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder)
    • Chargers: WR Keenan Allen, OUT (heel); TE Stone Smartt, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); OT Trey Pipkins (wrist); G Zion Johnson, DOUBTFUL (neck); EDGE Tuli Tuipulotu, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); EDGE Joey Bosa, OUT (foot); EDGE Justin Hollins, OUT (shoulder); DT Nick Williams, OUT (shoulder); LB Kenneth Murray Jr., DOUBTFUL (shoulder); LB Tanner Muse, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Deane Leonard, QUESTIONABLE (heel)

Chiefs: Kansas City cannot be moved out of the No. 3 seed, so the team has little reason to play any of its starters. Mahomes will sit, while the Chiefs won’t take chances with anybody who’s banged up.

Chargers: Sidelined since Week 14, Allen has no reason to return for a meaningless game on Sunday. Josh Palmer(who cleared the concussion protocol this week), Quentin Johnston, and Alex Erickson will work as Easton Stick’s top wideouts.

Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco 49ers

    • Rams: QB Matthew Stafford, DOUBTFUL (rest); RB Kyren Williams, DOUBTFUL (rest); WR Cooper Kupp, DOUBTFUL (rest); TE Tyler Higbee, OUT (shoulder); OL Joe Noteboom, OUT (foot); DT Aaron Donald, DOUBTFUL (rest); LB Ernest Jones, DOUBTFUL (rest); CB Duke Shelley, OUT (hamstring)
    • 49ers: RB Christian McCaffrey, OUT (calf); WR Ray-Ray McCloud, QUESTIONABLE (rib); WR Jauan Jennings, QUESTIONABLE (concussion); WR Danny Gray, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); TE Ross Dwelley, OUT (ankle); G Jon Feliciano, QUESTIONABLE (back); DT Arik Armstead, OUT (foot/knee); CB Ambry Thomas, OUT (hand); S Tashaun Gipson, OUT (quad); S Ji’Ayir Brown, OUT (knee)

Rams: Head coach Sean McVay announced Wednesday that Los Angeles will sit several veterans on Sunday now that the Rams have already clinched a Wild Card berth and don’t seem to have a preference between the No. 6 and No. 7 seeds.

Higbee and Noteboom will also sit out of LA’s regular-season finale, but they’re dealing with injury issues that would have sidelined them regardless of what was on the line.

49ers: CMC’s calf strain is considered mild, but San Francisco can take it easy with the NFC’s No. 1 seed already secured. McCaffrey will receive two full weeks of rest before the 49ers play in the Divisional Round.

QB Brock Purdy isn’t injured, but head coach Kyle Shanahan will rest his starting quarterback in Week 18. As such, Rams-49ers has become an all-backup QB battle featuring two former top-three draft picks in Carson Wentz and Sam Darnold.

    Dallas Cowboys at Washington Commanders

    • Cowboys: G Tyler Smith, QUESTIONABLE (foot); C Tyler Biadasz, QUESTIONABLE (illness); EDGE Dorance Armstrong, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); EDGE Chauncey Golston, QUESTIONABLE (illness); DT Jonathan Hankins, QUESTIONABLE (knee/ankle); S Malik Hooker, QUESTIONABLE (ankle/illness); S Juanyeh Thomas, QUESTIONABLE (illness)
    • Commanders: OT Andrew Wylie, QUESTIONABLE (elbow); EDGE Casey Toohill, QUESTIONABLE (shoulder); DT Jonathan Allen, OUT (knee); S Kam Curl, QUESTIONABLE (quad)

CowboysSmith didn’t practice all week, and it remains unclear if the second-year guard will suit up against Washington. Dallas reunited with offensive lineman La’el Collins this week, signing the veteran to a practice-squad deal.

On the plus side, Hankins returned to practice on Wednesday, suiting up for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 15.

Commanders: WR Curtis Samuel (hamstring) didn’t practice Thursday but returned for a full Friday session and will not carry an injury designation into Week 18.

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins (SNF)

    • Bills: C Mitch Morse, QUESTIONABLE (illness)
    • Dolphins: RB Raheem Mostert, QUESTIONABLE (knee/ankle); WR Jaylen Waddle, QUESTIONABLE (ankle); LB Jerome Baker, QUESTIONABLE (knee); CB Xavien Howard, OUT (foot)

Bills: Buffalo is incredibly healthy heading into its AFC East-deciding showdown against the Dolphins on Sunday night. Buffalo listed QB Josh Allen on its injury report with neck and right finger issues, but he fully practiced all week.

Dolphins: Head coach Mike McDaniel expressed no concern that Mostert would miss last week’s game — and then the veteran RB sat out of the Dolphins’ loss to the Ravens. Mostert didn’t practice until Friday, when he was limited.

Waddle, dealing with a high ankle sprain, also returned for a limited Friday session after missing Week 17. McDaniel has not ruled out the club’s WR2 for their regular-season finale.

On defense, Miami will be without pass rusher Bradley Chubb, who tore his ACL on Sunday. Howard won’t play, either, forcing the Dolphins to make difficult choices at cornerback.
