Fantasy Kicker Streamers and Rankings Week 18: Targets Include Ka’imi Fairbairn, Jake Moody, and Others

    Published on

Last week, best week! Some fantasy football leagues are still in action -- so which kicker streaming options could kick you to a championship?

The majority of fantasy leagues are done and dusted, and trophies and belts have been handed out, but we haven’t forgotten about you special fantasy managers out there! There are certainly some leagues that play through the end of the season, whether because of a two-week championship matchup or unique scoring, and they need a kicker, too!

Beyond the most rostered ones, which kickers have the best matchups in Week 18 of the fantasy football season?

Fantasy Football Kicker Streamers for Week 18

    Ka’imi Fairbairn, HOU (@ IND) – 7% rostered

Houston Texans kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn started 2023 with six solid weeks, never scoring less than eight fantasy points. The bye week followed, then two subpar performances, and then he was injured, missing five games. Fairbairn has been back for three games, scoring 16 fantasy points or more in two weeks.

In Week 18, the Texans head to Indianapolis for a battle of the AFC South. The Colts have allowed the third most fantasy points to opposing kickers, and the matchup is in a dome, which is a perfect place to play for a kicker in January. It’s a full-go with Fairbairn in Week 18.

Blake Grupe, NO (vs. ATL) – 7% rostered

New Orleans Saints kicker Blake Grupe was extremely dependable in the middle of the fantasy football season but has had a few rough weeks. However, in Week 18, the Saints take on the Falcons at home.

Once again, fantasy managers love their kicker in a dome, and the matchup is great for Grupe — Atlanta has given up the fourth most fantasy points to opposing kickers. The Falcons have given up nine or more fantasy points to kickers in five out of the last seven weeks, and this is an excellent opportunity for Grupe to bounce back.

Jake Moody, SF (vs. LAR) – 65% rostered

The San Francisco 49ers clinched the first-round bye last week thanks to the Arizona Cardinals, so I would not be surprised if certain players did not play a complete game. This might lead to more field-goal opportunities for Jake Moody, who has had a serviceable 2023 season. He has been perfect on extra points this year, has only missed three total field goals, and is a solid option in Week 18.

Daniel Carlson, LV (vs. DEN) – 45% rostered

Daniel Carlson could be a solid play in what could be an intriguing AFC West matchup. The Las Vegas Raiders have been eliminated from the playoffs, but they are known to play hard no matter what. Playing at home in a controlled environment, they will go against Denver, who gives up the seventh most fantasy points to opposing kickers.

Carlson is perfect on extra points this season, so if the Raiders can get their offense moving, he stands a good chance to get some opportunities.

Younghoe Koo, ATL (@ NO) – 61% rostered

Younghoe Koo looks to put a bow on his successful 2023 season in Week 18 against the Saints in — guess what — a dome! This should be a good showdown in an NFC South contest, and Koo has only missed three field goals this year. Koo is a good start in Week 18.

Jason Myers, SEA (@ AZ) – 58% rostered

The Seattle Seahawks’ Jason Myers has had an excellent kicking year. Heading into Week 17, he had the fifth most fantasy points among kickers, averaging 9.2 fantasy points per week. Week 18 brings Seattle a classic NFC West showdown against the Arizona Cardinals, and these games are always tough battles.

The game is in Arizona, who play in a dome, and Myers will look to help kick his team into the postseason. He is a solid play in Week 18.
