Miami Dolphins star CB Xavien Howard has missed three games this season and has logged just one interception. He likely won’t add to his total in Week 17, as he left the contest early due to a foot injury.
Update 2:47 ET: Howard has been downgraded to OUT.
Xavien Howard Injury Update
Howard is officially questionable to return against the Baltimore Ravens with a foot injury, leaving the game with five minutes to go in the first quarter. He rode the cart to the locker room with his left foot exposed, and the broadcast stated he couldn’t put any weight on it.

The injury occurred on the Ravens’ first offensive drive of the day, as WR Rashod Bateman ran a route against Howard, who went down in pain. The staff on the sideline checked Howard out in the blue medical tent before deciding to move him to the locker room.

Alongside Jalen Ramsey, expect more of Kader Kohou, Eli Apple, and Nik Needham at the CB spot with Howard off the field.
Howard hasn’t produced the splash plays he made his name on early in his career, but he’s been a stalwart on the outside for the Dolphins this season.
According to Pro Football Reference, he’s allowed just one TD and only 6.8 yards per target, the second-lowest rate in his career.
Yet, health has been his stiffest competition. Howard missed Weeks 7 and 8 with a groin injury and Week 15 with a hip issue.
