The Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs will be playing on Christmas afternoon at 1 p.m. ET. It is the first of three NFL games of the day, with the Philadelphia Eagles hosting the New York Giants on FOX and Monday Night Football on ABC featuring the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers.
The traditional broadcast on CBS will have Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson calling the game. Nickelodeon NFL Nickmas will be an alternate broadcast of the Raiders-Chiefs matchup, similar to previous Nickelodeon games.
Who Are the Announcers for NFL Nickmas?
The game broadcasters will be Noah Eagle and Nate Burleson, who are in the broadcast booth with Dylan Schefter, the daughter of ESPN’s Adam Schefter, reporting on the sidelines. Eagle and Burleson were also on the call for last season’s Nickelodeon NFL Nickmas.
A couple of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be involved in the special broadcast. Raphael (voiced by Brady Noon) will join Eagle and Burleson in the AR booth, and Donatello (voiced by Micah Abbey) will help explain penalties throughout the game.
Burleson and Dylan Gilmer host Nickelodeon’s NFL Slimetime, a weekly highlight show where end zones are turned into slime zones.
Eagle and Burleson have called the three previous Nickelodeon NFL broadcasts, including the 2021 playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers.
Special Features for Broadcast
The broadcast animation includes upgraded cannons that fire slime, snowballs, pizzas, and presents, along with an updated virtual Nickelodeon blimp flying around Arrowhead Stadium.
There will be an exclusive look at Nickelodeon’s newest animated series, Rock Paper Scissors, at halftime. The broadcast will include original on-field graphics and virtual filters that are for kids and families.
Last season’s NFL Nickmas game between the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Rams featured a lot of scoring and a lot of slime.
