Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has built his reputation as one of the NFL’s top athletes. His success on the field has translated into a life of luxury off it, and he boasts a net worth of $150 million.
While the NFC West is his abode in the NFL, his abode off the field is a lavish mansion in Hidden Hills, California, that he shares with his wife and four daughters. Let’s take a closer look at the crown jewel of his real estate portfolio, a stunning $10.5 million estate.
A Closer Look at Matthew Stafford’s Hidden Hills Estate
Stafford’s had a remarkable career. His career passing yards and touchdown passes are both good for 11th-most all-time, and he’ll overtake Eli Manning on both lists if he stays healthy. As you’d expect, that productivity has earned the star QB quite a bit of cheddar. His decade-and-a-half-long run of success in the pros has afforded him the ability to live a life of luxury off the field.
Stafford purchased his sprawling palace early in 2022, shortly after capturing victory with the Rams in Super Bowl 56. The $10.5 million he ponied up to secure the swanky home wound up being a bargain — the original asking price was reportedly almost $14 million.

The mansion is built in cottage style with mansard roofs and a rustic finish. It has lush green scenery on all sides, adding a peaceful element. Some standout features include family spaces done in vintage styles in shades of brown and beige. The leisure spaces have been beautifully designed with outdoor pools, extended stepped farms, and even vast patches of green in the surroundings.
One feature of this property that makes it a steal deal for anyone is Wish Vineyards. This on-site vineyard produces up to 300 cases of red wine annually.

Various sources cite different, enticing attributes about Stafford’s spacious home. Realtor mentions the five-car garage, library, bar, pool, and spa. Sports Illustrated included the following description in their own write-up about Stafford’s massive mansion.
“While most Hidden Hills mansions are newly-built modern farmhouses, this 1980s red-brick manor bucks the trend in its proudly traditional manner, standing rigidly upright atop a high knoll. Altogether, there are eight bedrooms, eight full baths, and two powder rooms in more than 11,000 square feet of living space.”
What Hidden Hills Estate Did Stafford List on the Market?
While 11,000 square feet might seem like enough space for most, it’s not the only expansive property in Stafford’s portfolio.
He also bought two neighboring Hidden Hills homes from rapper Drake for a combined $11 million in 2022, per ESPN.
Those properties have plenty of enviable traits as well, including a combined nine bathrooms, eight bedrooms, a heated pool, and even a pizza oven. If Stafford loves pizza as much as his on-screen persona, it’s safe to surmise that oven’s seen plenty of use.
Early this year, Drake listed 3 side-by-side LA properties for $22.5 million.

According to Realtor.com, one of the properties he acquired from Drake for $5 million was listed on the market recently for $5.7 million. It’s the larger of the two properties Stafford purchased from the Canadian rap icon — a 3,645-square-foot, four-bedroom, five-bathroom, ranch-style home.
Stafford is far from the only notable name who lives in Hidden Hills. That’s not too surprising, given that the swanky neighborhood is next door to Los Angeles. Some other celebrities who call the area home include, well, Drake, and Will Smith, The Weeknd, and Kim Kardashian, according to Property Club.
That’s lofty company to keep. There are plenty of conclusions to be drawn from Stafford’s impressive list of properties, but the one this writer keeps coming back to is this — it pays to be good at football.
