Who Are the Patriots-Broncos Announcers Tonight on NFL Network? Everything You Need To Know About the Broadcast

    Published on

Who is in the booth for NFL Network for the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos Sunday Night Football contest?

The NFL Network has the Denver Broncos hosting the New England Patriots on Christmas Eve, with kickoff set for 8:15 p.m. ET. The Broncos are 7-7 and outside the playoffs as the week begins, but they can get closer with several playoff contenders playing each other. The Patriots are 3-11, tied with the Arizona Cardinals for the second-worst record in the league.

NFL Network’s Sunday night coverage begins at 6 p.m. ET with “NFL GameDay Kickoff.” Colleen Wolfe will host, along with analysts Steve Smith Sr. and Maurice Jones-Drew. Kickoff is five minutes earlier than the start time on NBC’s broadcasts.

Who Will Be Announcing the Patriots-Broncos Broadcast Tonight?

Rich Eisen and Kurt Warner will be back in the booth this week, along with James Palmer and Sherree Burruss on the sidelines.

Eisen usually spends his Sunday mornings hosting NFL Network’s NFL GameDay Morning and hosting The Rich Eisen Show weekdays on The Roku Channel. Eisen also hosts the NFL Draft and NFL Scouting Combine for the NFL Network each year.

Warner joined the NFL Network in 2010 after he finished his Hall of Fame career in the NFL. He is a game analyst for most NFL Network games and is part of the NFL GameDay Morning pregame show.

Palmer joined NFL Media in 2015 to be a national reporter and is a contributor to several NFL Network shows throughout the year. Before joining NFL Media, he worked as a Houston Texans beat reporter for Comcast SportsNet Houston.

Burruss joined NFL Media in February as a reporter for the NFL app and many NFL Network shows. She worked at CBS Sports Network, covering college basketball and football, along with hosting CBS Sports HQ. Burruss also served as an NFL sideline reporter for two years with CBS.

    The Broadcast Booth

Before its launch in November 2003, Eisen was the NFL Network’s first on-air talent hire. He left for the NFL Network after working at ESPN in several different roles from 1996 to 2003. Eisen was paired with Stuart Scott to host SportsCenter in 1996, and the two formed one of the most notable teams in the history of the network’s flagship show.

At the Scouting Combine, Eisen runs a 40-yard dash each year to raise money to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This past spring was the 19th year he made the charity sprint, and he posted a time of 6.22 seconds. It was slightly under two seconds slower than Michigan cornerback DJ Turner II’s 4.26 time.

He reached a second Super Bowl with the Rams and another one with the Arizona Cardinals. Warner finished his career with over 32,000 pass yards and 208 touchdowns in 124 games.

In 2021, his journey to the NFL was told in the movie “American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story.” Zachary Levi starred as Warner, Anna Paquin played his wife Brenda, and Dennis Quaid portrayed Rams coach Dick Vermeil.
