Houston Texans wide receiver Noah Brown has been fairly disappointing for fantasy football managers recently. Since missing Weeks 11 and 12 due to injury, Brown failed to register a single fantasy point in the last two weeks.
With WR Tank Dell out for the season, QB C.J. Stroud listed as out for this week, and WR Nico Collins listed as questionable but unlikely to play, what does this mean for Brown?
Brown is questionable for today’s game against the Tennessee Titans with a knee injury. However, will Brown play today against the Titans? What is the latest news concerning his injury? And, if he were to play today, what is his potential fantasy outlook?
Is Noah Brown Going To Play Week 15?
Brown is currently questionable for today’s game against the Titans with a knee injury. This injury has been the same one that kept him out in Weeks 11 and 12 and hampered his route running and availability for targets in the last two weeks.
However, he has been on the field the last two weeks. Additionally, Brown managed to log practice reps on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week. Albeit, he only practiced in a limited capacity.
So it does appear likely that Brown will suit up for a third straight week. And Adam Schefter of ESPN appeared to confirm as such this morning. He posted on X, “Texans’ WR Noah Brown, listed as questionable for Sunday due to a knee injury, is expected to play vs. the Titans, per source.”
Therefore, since it appears Brown will play today, let’s take a deeper look at what fantasy managers can expect out of Brown today from a fantasy perspective.
What Is Brown’s Potential Fantasy Outlook for Today?
Brown has failed to register a single fantasy point in the past two weeks, despite playing. It is clear he is still suffering from the knee injury that kept him out in Weeks 11 and 12. However, Brown did log 81% of snaps in Week 13. But, he then regressed to just 66% of snaps last week.
Brown is currently ranked as the WR37 in our PFN Consensus Rankings. This puts him in flex play territory.

While Brown has not managed a single fantasy point for fantasy managers in the past month, there is some optimism for him this week. For starters, star wide receivers Dell and Collins are not going to be available for this game against the Texans. However, star quarterback Stroud is also out for today’s game.
It appears likely that Case Keenum will be the starting quarterback for today’s game against the Titans. This could be a good thing for Brown, as Keenum is a highly experienced veteran who knows how to get the ball down the field.
However, Keenum has not started a game since Week 8 of the 2021 season for the Cleveland Browns. So expect some rust.
Brown has the widest range of outcomes possible for today. He could easily return a zero-point game for the third straight week. He could also end up as a high-volume WR2 this week. Fantasy managers really should only start Brown if they have to, or are chasing a high upside. Because Brown this week is a boom or bust play in the purest form.
If fantasy managers are chasing points this week, he is worth a spot start. If you are in a good position in your matchup, fading Brown would be the sensible play.
