Cleveland Browns RB Jerome Ford has managed to be a solid fantasy football asset this season even with Kareem Hunt continuing to vulture away rushing touchdowns. Should fantasy managers trust Ford in their fantasy lineup heading into a Week 15 matchup against the Chicago Bears?
Should You Start Jerome Ford in Week 15?
Despite averaging 12 carries per game since starting RB Nick Chubb went down with a season-ending injury back in Week 2, Ford continues to be a frustrating fantasy option on a weekly basis with Hunt continuing to significantly lower his fantasy ceiling.
Ford’s big-play ability and advantage in the passing game easily make him the better fantasy play of the two Cleveland running backs. But seven rushing TDs on 111 carries continue to be a major thorn in his weekly upside.
Ford lands as a low-end RB2 play this week against a Bears defense that allows just 83 yards rushing per game, which is the second-lowest mark in the league.

Should You Start Ford or Chuba Hubbard?
Carolina Panthers RB Chuba Hubbard may not be an efficiency dynamo, but he has certainly been a bell-cow back over the last two games. His average of 25 total touches per contest over the previous two weeks makes him an RB2 on volume alone in a poor offense.

I’ll take his featured role in a middling matchup over Ford’s split role with Hunt in a tough matchup in Week 15.
Should You Start Ford or James Conner?
Oddly enough, the logic I have for wanting to roll with Hubbard over Ford this week is the same exact reason why you should go with Arizona Cardinals RB James Conner in this scenario.
Conner saw a season-high 25 carries back in Week 13 and produced 105 rushing yards and two scores with a full workload.
Of course, his matchup against the San Francisco 49ers is actually tougher than Ford’s matchup against the Bears, with the 49ers’ defense actually allowing the fewest rushing yards per game this season at 78. However, I still prefer Conner’s volume over Ford’s split with Hunt in Week 15.
