Meanwhile, due to a crowded AFC playoff race, the Cincinnati Bengals are one of six teams tied at 7-6 and fighting for the last two Wild Card spots. Backup QB Jake Browning flipped a switch the previous two weeks, completing 50 of 62 passes for 629 yards, three touchdowns, and an interception. He also scored twice on the ground. Can the rookie salvage the Bengals season for a final playoff push?
Pittsburgh Steelers at Indianapolis Colts
- Start time: 4:30 p.m. ET
- Channel: NFL Network
- Live stream options: NFL+, YouTube TV
Speaking of AFC playoff teams, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Indianapolis Colts hold the AFC’s sixth and seventh seeds, respectively. A win in this game today would give the other a much-needed advantage over one of the 7-6 teams.
Last week, the Colts’ loss to the Bengals halted their four-game winning streak, but QB Gardner Minshew II has shown he can do enough to help them win.
The Steelers hope to bounce back from an embarrassing loss to the New England Patriots. A team averaging 9.4 points per game over their five-game losing streak put up 21 points and continued to leave the Steelers puzzled for answers on offense. With the playoff race heating up soon, HC Mike Tomlin needs QB Mitchell Trubisky to find a way to win this week.
Denver Broncos at Detroit Lions
- Start time: 8:15 p.m. ET
- Channel: NFL Network
- Live stream options:
Today’s final NFL game sees the Denver Broncos heading to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. However, Detroit has struggled the last four weeks. Despite going 2-2, beating the Chicago Bears in Week 11 took quite a comeback. Goff has eight turnovers in the previous four games and hasn’t looked as sharp as many have become accustomed to during his time in Detroit. At home and with the postseason on the line, expect a turnaround from Goff and the Lions today.
