Tate’s Fantasy Football Updated TE Rest-of-Season Rankings Week 15: Where Do Trey McBride, Evan Engram, and David Njoku Land?

    Published on

As we enter the fantasy playoffs, fantasy managers need to know who they can rely on. Here are the latest TE rest-of-season rankings to guide you.

The tight end position in the world of fantasy football feels the most fluid because one or two performances can sometimes put them in the low end TE1 conversation, which makes this position the trickiest to determine a consistent and reliable way to rank these players.

That being said, there are a handful of players who are trending in the right direction in recent weeks. Let’s take a closer look at which TEs are skyrocketing up my rest-of-season rankings heading into the fantasy football playoffs.

Fantasy Football Risers After Week 14

    Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals

The emergence of Arizona Cardinals TE Trey McBride has been one of the best surprises of the 2023 NFL season. His elite pass-catching production at Colorado State suggested he could be a productive move TE in the NFL, but perhaps we underestimated the type of impact he could have a pass catcher in the league.

Over the last four games, McBride has caught 28 passes for 323 yards and a score on a very healthy 33 targets. He has firmly jumped into the top-five conversation at the TE position on a weekly basis for the remainder of the season.

    Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars

A little touchdown equity over the last two games has certainly brought Jacksonville Jaguars TE Evan Engram back into the top-five conversation at the TE position. After failing to find pay dirt for 15 straight games, Engram has scored three TDs over his last two games.

Sure, the touchdowns are nice, but his jump in the other receiving departments is what should have fantasy managers really excited. Engram has caught 20 of his 23 targets over the last two weeks, which has helped generate 177 receiving yards over that stretch.

With WR Christian Kirk on injured reserve with a groin injury, Engram’s bump in volume may be a preview of things to come through the fantasy playoffs.
