Fantasy DST Streamers and Rankings Week 15: Targets Include Saints, Rams, and Others

    Published on

Congratulations, fantasy managers -- you have made it to the playoffs! What defense streamers should you target this week to win your matchup?

It is playoff time, and the defense you pick up to play is crucial — matchups are key! Remember, you can roster multiple defenses during the playoffs, whether to keep for your team to play the best matchups in different weeks or to keep away from your opponents. Another thing to keep an eye on is the weather as we head into late December. Rain, wind, and snow start making frequent appearances.

Considering all of those things, which DST should you target to stream in Week 15 of the fantasy football season?

    DST Streamers for Week 15

New Orleans Saints (vs. NYG) – 69% rostered

Remember the Tommy DeVito experiment? We all want to root for him, but fantasy managers know that even if DeVito plays better than expected, it is still a good idea to start the defense playing him. DeVito has three interceptions in his five games played, as well as 28 sacks.

There is chatter that TE Darren Waller might return, but he will definitely have some rust to shake off, so that does not upgrade the offense much for me. The Saints will be riding high from a delightful outing against the Carolina Panthers, scoring 21 fantasy points off four sacks, two fumble recoveries, and one TD.

Indianapolis Colts (vs. PIT) – 42% rostered

We all saw the New England Patriots dismantle the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Thursday. If you did not see it, you definitely heard the crowd boo the team and backup QB Mitch Trubisky. The team lost starter Kenny Pickett to ankle surgery, and they will not have him back this week against the Colts.

Indy was decent in Week 14 against the Bengals, but the Steelers are a better matchup for them. The Colts’ defense has scored double-digit fantasy points in four of the last five games.

    Atlanta Falcons (@ CAR) – 32% rostered

We just talked about the 21 fantasy points that the Saints scored against the Carolina Panthers, and in Week 15, the Falcons get that pleasure. The Atlanta defense did not do much in the game against Tampa Bay in Week 14, but fantasy managers have to look at the matchup, and the one against the Panthers is just too good.

After Carolina, the Falcons take on the Colts and then the Bears in championship week, so you can use them in multiple weeks.

Los Angeles Rams (vs. WAS) – 17% rostered

The Washington Commanders were on a bye in Week 14, so QB Sam Howell did not throw an interception. But in Week 15, they are back at it, and the leader in interceptions this season will have an opportunity to throw some more. Howell has thrown 14 interceptions so far in 2023 and has the most amount of sacks in the league with 58.

The Rams only scored two fantasy points this week in the shootout against Baltimore, but I expect much more from them in Week 15. After the Commanders, Los Angeles takes on the Saints and the Giants, so this DST has a chance to win you a fantasy title.

Tennessee Titans (vs. HOU) – 6% rostered

First, it was Tank Dell. Then, Nico Collins exited the game against the Jets early with a calf injury. Then, to put a horrible bow on it, QB C.J. Stroud went down late in the game on a rough hit. Stroud looks like he sustained a concussion, and it could be the Davis Mills show next week. The Titans could have a juicy matchup.
