New England Patriots QB Bailey Zappe is due to get married to his long-term partner Hannah Lewis.
The former fourth-round pick has been in and out of the Patriots’ starting lineup since being drafted, with New England unable to settle on their preferred starting quarterback, but he is due to make an even bigger commitment off the field very soon.
When Are Bailey Zappe and Hannah Lewis Getting Married?
Zappe and Lewis are engaged. Lewis shared the proposal in May 2023 on Instagram, with the couple surrounded by rose petals shaped like a heart. Zappe is down on one knee, placing a ring on Lewis’s finger.

The Patriots QB commented on Lewis’s picture saying, “Zappe Ever After?”
Their wedding website The Knot, shows that the wedding will take place on March 9, 2024, in Schulenburg, Texas.

Zappe’s brother, Trent Zappe, is scheduled to be the best man, while Zappe’s former college teammates Jerreth Sterns, Josh Sterns, Trevor Larkin, Cole Spencer, Joey Beljan, and Gunner Britton will be groomsmen.
How Did They Meet?
The couple met in college in 2017, where they both attended Houston Baptist University, and Lewis was also on the school volleyball team. Lewis was in her sophomore year, while Zappe was just a freshman.

Zappe and Lewis first met when Lewis was helping a friend move apartments, and that friend just happened to be moving in with Zappe. Lewis shared on The Knot that “after I left, Bailey had told my guy friends ‘I am going to date that girl,’ to which they replied, ‘Ya good luck with that.'”
After a few months, the couple started talking on Snapchat. After messaging back and forth, they attended a party together, and as Lewis says, “the rest is history.” The couple have been together since then for a total of six years.
Lewis graduated in 2020 with a degree in Business Administration and Management while Zappe was in his fourth year. Zappe chose to enter the transfer portal in 2021 and follow his offensive coordinator at Houston Baptist, Zach Kittley, to Western Kentucky. There, he threw for over 5,000 passing yards.
The couple continued their relationship long-distance after Lewis graduated, while Zappe played out his college eligibility and entered the NFL Draft.
Since graduating, Lewis has worked as a medical assistant at Lewis Pain and Physical Medicine. After Zappe was drafted by the Patriots, Lewis decided to move in with him in Massachusetts.
