Congratulations, fantasy football managers! We made it to the last week of byes in the 2023 season. This week, the Arizona Cardinals and Washington Commanders are resting, but everyone else is playing, so managers have a lot of options regarding which matchups to exploit. InBeyond this week, if you have already made the playoffs, it is time to start thinking about good matchups for those weeks.
Which DST should you target to stream in Week 14 of the fantasy season?
Top DST Streamers for Week 14
Byes: Arizona Cardinals, Washington Commanders
New Orleans Saints (vs. CAR) – 43% rostered
The New Orleans Saints will probably get dropped by several fantasy managers after their subpar outing on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. The Saints’ defense did not put up any fantasy points on the board in the loss to the Lions.

However, in Week 14, the Saints take on the Carolina Panthers and rookie QB Bryce Young. Sure, the Panthers have been improving lately at taking care of the ball, but Young still hasn’t topped 200 yards passing since Week 8. You can stream the Saints DST in Week 14.
Detroit Lions (@ CHI) – 31% rostered
Another defense that has lost some of its power lately is the Detroit Lions. They only scored five fantasy points against the Saints, but they did manage two sacks, one INT, and one fumble recovery. On Sunday, their offense clicked so nicely that defense wasn’t as much of the focus.
Heading to Chicago in Week 14, the Lions’ defense should be more heavily emphasized with QB Jared Goff having less success on the road and in outdoor stadiums. The Bears are in major competition to grab that first pick in the draft, and although Justin Fields can make some incredible plays, he still loves throwing to the other team.
Detroit is a DST you could hold on to for the fantasy playoffs. After Chicago, they play Denver and Minnesota, both good matchups.
Indianapolis Colts (@ CIN) – 31% rostered
The Colts’ defense came ready to play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday with two blocked punts, and in Week 14, they head to Cincinnati to take on a Bengals team just trying to get through the season now that QB Joe Burrow is out for the year.
Houston Texans (@ NYJ) – 13% rostered
Derek Stingley Jr. had two interceptions for Houston on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. Throw that in with the fact that the Texans play the New York Jets in Week 14, a team that started the day being led by Tim Boyle. Trevor Siemian took over for Boyle late in the game, either due to an undisclosed injury or because of performance.
It doesn’t matter which QB starts in Week 14; the Texans’ defense should have a great day against either of them. The Texans’ DST might be serviceable for multiple weeks, especially as they put their heads down for this playoff push. In Week 15, they take on the Titans, and in Week 16, they play the Cleveland Browns who have been dealing with their own QB issues.
Green Bay Packers (@ New York Giants) – 17% rostered
Matchups don’t get much better than against the New York Giants and Tommy DeVito. Sure, he threw for three TDs in Week 11, but that was against the Commanders. Outside of that game, DeVito has not thrown over 200 yards. The Green Bay Packers are streamable in Week 14.

Another team that has solid fantasy playoff matchups, Green Bay has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Panthers on the docket after the Giants, so the Packers could stay on your roster.
