The Cleveland Browns are 7-4 heading into Week 13, and they just added a Super Bowl-winning quarterback to the roster. Joe Flacco was signed to Cleveland’s practice squad and elevated to the roster this week.
Flacco is now in his 16th NFL season, having spent most of his career with the Baltimore Ravens. In his career, he has made a lot of money. But what is Flacco’s salary this season? What’s his net worth?
Joe Flacco’s Salary and Net Worth
The Browns signed Flacco to their practice squad on Nov. 20. They did so in response to a head injury suffered by then-starter Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is now in concussion protocol. The Browns also lost season-starter Deshaun Watson to a broken throwing shoulder just a few weeks earlier.
Flacco was officially named the team’s starter just a few days ahead of their matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. The 38-year-old signed a one-year, $370,800 contract with the Browns, according to Spotrac. The contract includes a base salary of $144,200.
In his 16 seasons, Flacco has been a member of five teams, 11 of which came with the Baltimore Ravens. In his 11 seasons with the Ravens, Flacco earned $147,800,000. He would then earn $26,583,819 combined over his next five seasons with the Denver Broncos, New York Jets, and Philadelphia Eagles, according to Spotrac.
Ultimately, Flacco’s estimated net worth is roughly $90 million as of November 2023. This is up from $44.5 million in 2016, according to Forbes.

Flacco is also known for his success in the playoffs. In 15 playoff appearances, he’s passed for 3,223 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions — going 10-5 in those appearances.
Before his injury, Thompson-Robinson was the presumed starter. In his five games of action this season, DTR passed for 429 yards, one touchdown, and four interceptions. He’s 1-2 in his three starts.
On the other hand, Flacco will be backed up by P.J. Walker, who also started multiple games this season. In his two starts, Walker went 1-1, passing for 674 yards, one touchdown, and five interceptions.
