Redraft fantasy football is all about keeping the next week at the forefront of your mind. There’s benefit in looking a couple of weeks ahead, but for the most part, fantasy managers need to pay attention to what’s right in front of them.
Dynasty fantasy football has the bigger picture in mind, though, and is thinking within a two-to-three-year window. What does that mean for the QB position after an eventful Week 12 with some key injuries?

Dynasty Fantasy Football Fallers After Week 12
Joe Burrow, Cincinnati Bengals
When Joe Burrow is on the field and healthy, he’s one of the best QBs the game has to offer. Unfortunately, we just haven’t seen a fully healthy Burrow for an extended period of time for quite a while, and it’s time to have the conversation about durability and reliability in fantasy football.
After Burrow’s season-ending injury, he’s taken a slight hit in my dynasty rankings. That still equates to a top-five QB in dynasty, but there’s now a bit more doubt being allowed to creep into my mind than ever before.

For fantasy managers, they need to know that they can rely on their quarterback — especially in Superflex leagues — and that just hasn’t been the case for Burrow lately.
He’s still one of the best of the best in the NFL, but we now have to acknowledge the elephant in the room that he may miss some time or be fighting through injury essentially every single year moving forward.
