Commanders vs. Cowboys Best Touchdown Scorer Bets: Is CeeDee Lamb a Lock?

The oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points in Commanders vs. Cowboys. But what are the best touchdown scorer bets?

Washington Commanders vs. Dallas Cowboys has the highest total of the day and tied for the highest of all Week 12 games. The oddsmakers are expecting plenty of points in this one, especially with how the Cowboys offense and Commanders defense have played in recent weeks. But what are the best touchdown scorer bets?

Commanders vs. Cowboys Best Touchdown Scorer Bets

    CeeDee Lamb (-105 at FanDuel)

Bearman: I have made no secret of how I take the overs for any WR1 against the Commanders. I’m on Lamb’s over in this one, so why not take him to score a touchdown as well?

CeeDee Lamb (-105 at FanDuel) 2+ TDs (+650 at FanDuel)

Gosling: The Cowboys’ offense has been humming lately, and it is unlikely to stop against a Commanders defense that just allowed Tommy DeVito to throw for 246 yards and three TDs. Today, that same defense faces a Cowboys team that is averaging 40 points per game at home.

Seven of the 11 QBs that have gone up against this Commanders defense this season have thrown for 275+ yards, with five going for 300+. Dak Prescott’s current yardage line is 277.5, so oddsmakers expect him to be airing the ball out, which also implies a big day for CeeDee Lamb. Of Cowboys pass catchers this season, Lamb has more than double the targets of anybody else.

Give me Prescott’s No. 1 option to score, and I’ll sprinkle a little on him to score two TDs as well. Don’t be surprised if Prescott finds a way into the MVP conversation after this game.

    Jake Ferguson (+180 at FanDuel)

Blewis: There is a lot of value here, considering Jake Ferguson’s anytime touchdown scorer odds are +115 at DraftKings in comparison.

Ferguson leads all Cowboys pass catchers in red-zone target share this season, and after scoring one touchdown in the first six weeks of the season, he has gotten into the end zone in three of his four last games. For the season, the Commanders have allowed the fifth-most touchdowns to tight ends.

    Dak Prescott (+290 at DraftKings)

Rolfe: Thanksgiving is a time when we often see a Cowboys player shine. Many people feel that Prescott is being disrespected in the MVP race, so this could be his time to show up in the national spotlight. Prescott has two rushing touchdowns in the last five games and could be set to add to that if the opportunity arises this week.

The Commanders struggle mightily against opposing WRs, having allowed 15 passing touchdowns to the position this season so far. So, while backing CeeDee Lamb (-155) or Brandin Cooks (+195) might be the more conventional play, this game just has the feeling of a Prescott big-game, showcase-type performance.

Dallas Cowboys D/ST (+360 at DraftKings)

Rolfe: The Washington Commanders are currently on a streak of committing turnovers. Their six TOs last week against the New York Giants made it five games in a row with an offensive turnover. Sam Howell himself has 12 interceptions in 11 games this season, including three last week.

The Cowboys’ defense has produced an interception in all but two games this year and has pick-six king DaRon Bland on the roster. Backing a D/ST to convert those turnovers into touchdowns always requires a bit of good fortune, but the combination of an opportunistic defense with an offense on a run of sloppy mistakes gives you a solid chance of getting a defensive score in this one.
