On the surface, the NFL game tonight may not seem that impressive. However, high stakes are on the line tonight for Minnesota and Denver on Sunday Night Football. The Broncos have sprung themselves into the outskirts of the AFC playoff conversation with a three-game winning streak fueled by masterful playcalling from defensive coordinator Vance Joseph.

Meanwhile, Minnesota has won five straight games after their 1-4 start to the season. The Vikings hold the seventh and final seed in the NFC with a two-game lead over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at eighth and renewed hope after adding Dobbs to the roster.

Dobbs is playing for his second team this regular season but found himself in a familiar situation in Week 10 as he was in Week 1. With the trade deadline on Nov. 7, Dobbs had been a Viking for five days before taking his first snaps, and he delivered. Joseph must dial up another masterful defensive showcase to slow down Minnesota’s passing offense.

The Vikings have gone three-and-out on 12% of their first-half drives this season, the second-best in the NFL. The Broncos have forced three-and-outs on 13% of opponent drives this year, tied for worst in the league. If Dobbs can run and pass at will, it will take quite an effort from Russell Wilson and Denver’s offense to keep up in the NFL game tonight.
