The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs meet on Monday Night Football to wrap up Week 10. It’s a Super Bowl rematch, and both teams enter the game leading their respective conferences. This is Kansas City’s first Monday night game of the season, while Philadelphia is playing on MNF for the second time.

Eagles-Chiefs Announcers for Monday Night Football
The traditional broadcast with Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, and Lisa Salters will be on ABC and ESPN. Buck and Aikman are in their 22nd season together in a broadcast booth, a record-breaking season after surpassing the legendary pair of Pat Summerall and John Madden.
ESPN’s coverage begins with Monday Night Countdown starting at 6 p.m. ET, with host Scott Van Pelt and former players Ryan Clark, Marcus Spears, and Robert Griffin III providing analysis. Michelle Beisner-Buck and NFL insider Adam Schefter are also part of the show.
Super Bowl Duo
Joe Buck and Troy Aikman have called six Super Bowls together — the second-most by any broadcasting team. Summerall and Madden broadcast eight Super Bowls together on CBS and FOX.
In their first Super Bowl broadcast in February 2005 between the Eagles and the New England Patriots, Cris Collinsworth joined Buck and Aikman. The duo went on to broadcast five more Super Bowls for FOX and were on pace to broadcast last season’s Chiefs-Eagles matchup before leaving for ESPN.
Buck and Aikman could have another Super Bowl in the future. ABC is scheduled to broadcast Super Bowl LXI in February 2027. Their contracts reportedly run through that season, so they will likely be in the booth for that clash.
Aikman’s Super Bowl Rematch
The Eagles and Chiefs are both hoping to get back to the Super Bowl this season. Troy Aikman was the starting quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys when they played the Buffalo Bills in back-to-back Super Bowls. It was the only time two teams played against each other in the Super Bowl in consecutive seasons.
In Super Bowl XXVII, Aikman led the Cowboys to a 52-17 win over the Buffalo Bills for the franchise’s third championship. He threw four touchdown passes and earned Super Bowl MVP honors.

The following season, Aikman suffered a concussion in the NFC Championship game, and the Super Bowl was played a week later with no bye week. He passed for 207 yards with no touchdowns and one interception in Super Bowl XXVIII against the Bills. It was only one of three career playoff games that Aikman started and didn’t have a touchdown pass.
The Cowboys outscored the Bills 24-0 after trailing 13-6 at halftime to win a second-straight championship, while the Bills lost the Super Bowl for the fourth-straight year.
