The Dallas Cowboys are riding an 11-game home winning streak into their Week 10 matchup against the New York Giants at AT&T Stadium.
A victory over New York would make it Dallas’ longest winning run at home since the Cowboys posted 18 straight victories from 1979-81.
Jake Ferguson on Cowboys’ Home Winning Streak
Tight end Jake Ferguson has been a key piece of the Dallas offense this season, recording 32 receptions for 328 yards for a solid 10.3 yards per reception. In the Cowboys’ last matchup against the Eagles, he tallied seven catches for 91 yards.
The second-year player said he has gotten more comfortable this season.
“Last year, I was just trying to get my feet under me at the beginning of the season and then towards the end, just kind of put my head down and work,” Ferguson said. “This year, it’s like, OK, I can really make an impact. I can really do some big things on offense, and I just got to be there every single time.”
Ferguson said the team takes pride in the home winning streak they have going and strives to play the best they can for their fans.
“I mean, that’s our home,” Ferguson said. “People are trying to come in, come into our stadium and get a win. It’s not just winning and losing. Our fans are there. It’s our fans back in the house. Not only are we trying to win for ourselves, but we’re also winning for Dallas.”

The Cowboys have won all three of their home games so far this season by over 20 points. Ferguson said being at home brings a different energy to the games, which has helped fuel the win streak.
“I don’t want to say there’s a little bit more confidence at home — that sounds off — but when you have that many people kind of cheering you and going against the other team, it’s that much harder to hear when they’re on offense and stuff like that,” Ferguson said. “That’s energy. And that energy drives drives us and, you know, drives us to play a little bit better.”
Ferguson credited his relationship and communication with quarterback Dak Prescott for his recent success. His performance in Philadelphia included a career-best in targets and yards.
“It’s crucial,” Ferguson said of his communication with Dak. “Whether it’s texting after practice, in the meeting room, whatever, if you’re correcting it, then you’re on the right track. It’s when those problems are happening over and over again where you kind of sort of get into that bad category. So when one mistake happens, we try to attack it head-on, talk to each other, talk it out. And so when the next time does come, it’s not even a question.”
