The league is littered with talented young WRs this season, and several fantasy-relevant players have unfortunately been dealing with injuries as of late. What are the most recent updates surrounding Nico Collins, K.J. Osborn, and Michael Wilson?
Latest News and Injury Updates Impacting Fantasy
Nico Collins, WR, Houston Texans
Collins logged a limited practice on Wednesday with his calf issue, and it is uncertain if he will be good to go for the Texans game against the Bengals on Sunday. This is a big one for Houston, so you know they will do everything they can to get Collins out there. If he is sidelined, expect another monster game from Tank Dell, with the possibility of more targets for John Metchie.

Collins has been one of rookie QB C.J. Stroud’s favorite targets and is currently WR14 on the year. Last week, he finished as WR11, catching three balls for 54 yards and one TD.
Editor’s note (Friday, Nov. 10, 4:15 p.m.): Collins has been ruled out of the Texans Week 10 game against the Bengals after not practicing on Thursday or Friday.
K.J. Osborn, WR, Minnesota Vikings
Osborn did not practice on Wednesday due to a concussion he suffered on Sunday in Atlanta. He received a brutal hit against the Falcons, and the crowd held their breath as he was down on the turf, motionless for a significant amount of time. Osborn ultimately got up and walked to the sideline and locker room.
He has to pass all phases of the protocol before he is able to play, and it is unclear if he will be able to do that in time for Week 10 against the Saints. Rarely was a player who suffered a concussion and entered the protocol able to play the following week — the majority take at least one game. Monitor the practice reports later in the week.
With Justin Jefferson still unable to start and Cam Akers out for the season, look to Jordan Addison, Brandon Powell, and Alexander Mattison to help lead Josh Dobbs if Osborn cannot clear protocol in time.
Editor’s Note (Nov. 9, 4:30 p.m. ET): Osborn was upgraded to a limited participant on Thursday giving him a shot to play on Sunday.
Michael Wilson, WR, Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals look to get back Kyler Murray and possibly James Connor this week, but they may be without Wilson. Wilson was held out of practice every day last week and was ultimately made inactive for Arizona’s game against Cleveland.
Wilson was limited at practice on Wednesday with his shoulder issue and could be looking to return this week with Murray under center. “He should ramp up this week,” head coach Jonathan Gannon said. “We’ll see how the week goes, but he’s progressing well.” Expect more work for Hollywood Brown if Wilson misses, but it will be a brand-new offense, so fantasy managers could be surprised.
