The Carolina Panthers are one of the worst teams in the NFL this season with only one win through nine weeks, but not everything is a negative. Former Minnesota Vikings WR Adam Thielen has been a bright spot for the squad.
The 33-year-old spent nine seasons in Minnesota, where he had 534 receptions for 6,682 yards and 55 touchdowns. Although he spent almost 10 years with the franchise, he was released in March of 2023. The Panthers saw a gem in the Vikings’ former playmaker.
In eight games this season, Thielen has hauled in 62 receptions for 610 yards and four touchdowns. He has been a consistent weapon for 2023 first-overall selection QB Bryce Young.
The NFL isn’t the only thing he’s spent a long time with, though. He’s been married to his wife, Caitlin, for quite a while too.

Adam and Caitlin go back to high school — Detroit Lakes High School, specifically. The two were both athletes at the school and eventually got into a relationship that would follow them into the present day.

The duo both eventually attended Minnesota State University, where Adam worked his way to the NFL as an undrafted free agent and Caitlin received her degree while also playing midfielder for the school’s soccer team. Following a transfer from Iowa State, she earned her degree in speech pathology and communications disorders.
The two eventually tied the knot in 2015. They went on to have three children together, with the first being born in 2016 and the others in 2019 and 2021.

Now, Caitlin can be found focusing on her blog, “Life with Mrs. T.” On it, she writes about her family life, along with other important things to her. Beyond the blog, she is a full-time mother to their children.
Following Thielen’s release from Minnesota in March, Caitlin sounded off about her feelings on the matter. She went to her Instagram story to share her frustration, while Thielen posted a farewell letter of his own.
