The Against the Spread podcast returns with host Ryan Gosling and special guest George Templeton, from PFN’s Handle your Business podcast. After another successful betting week going 3-0, Ryan and George break down what they learned from Week 3 and how they will apply that to their upcoming picks. For their Week 4 best bets, the guys take a look at some home underdogs and expect to see more and more points scored. The under was 2-2 last week but is still sitting at 8-4 on the season. With low totals such as 38 and 39 this week, could we finally see the overs with a strong bounce-back? The Pro Football Network betting crew currently sits at 24-8 for +15 units on the season.
XFL Week 4 best bets
After a surprising few games last week, the guys expect things to return to normal for the DC Defenders. Last week, they were absolutely embarrassed by the L.A. Wildcats, 39-9. Cardale Jones did not look like himself with four interceptions, while the offense struggled to muster 90 total yards. With George likely to be in attendance, the guys think that this will be the perfect bounce-back spot for the Defenders against the 0-3 Vipers. With the team reeling from the loss of Quinton Flowers, the Vipers will likely continue to struggle under Marc Trestman.

The game of the week will easily be the Houston Roughnecks taking on the Dallas Renegades. Both Ryan and George have some strong feelings about this one and expect both offenses to put up impressive numbers. Dallas is starting to show everyone why they were favored to win the XFL Championship to start the year, while Houston continues to prove why they should now be favored. Look for explosions in Dallas with Landry Jones and P.J. Walker going toe to toe.
