Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks suffered a scary injury late in Thursday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers that necessitated him being immobilized and taken off the field on the cart. Here is the latest information.

    Latest Treylon Burks Injury Update

Burks, thankfully, appeared to avoid serious injury. Titans coach Mike Vrabel told reporters during his postgame news conference that Burks was “alert and moving,” and receiving medical treatment at the stadium.

That was the extent of his update Thursday, saying the team will release more information on Friday.

Burks got hurt while trying to secure a deep sideline pass on fourth down late in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Steelers.

While trying to make the catch just before the two-minute warning, he fell awkwardly and hit the back of his head on the turf. Levi Wallace was in coverage on the play but did not appear to make much contact with Burks. Players immediately signaled for medical help after he went to the ground.

The Titans’ medical staff removed his helmet, strapped him to a board, and took him to an ambulance for further examination. Burks was not hospitalized.

The Amazon Prime broadcast team reported that Burks was able to move his toes and captured him giving a thumbs up to the crowd with his left hand while being carted into the locker room.

A few minutes later, the broadcast team reported that Burks had movement in all of his extremities.

Burks, 23, was a first-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft. He entered the game with six catches for 99 yards on the season.
