We have reached Week 9 of the NFL season, meaning the standings and storylines around the league are crystalizing. With four teams on a bye and a game in Germany, we have a relatively quiet slate of 10 games on Sunday afternoon. Let’s examine the Week 9 NFL coverage map to see which games FOX and CBS will be broadcasting to each part of the country.
NFL Coverage Map for Week 9
The coverage maps are provided by the group at 506Sports, who color code them to allow people to identify which games will be shown in Week 9. They do this for both of the major networks, with two maps for whoever has the doubleheader and a single map for the network that doesn’t.
The NFL coverage maps are correct as of Sunday morning but remain subject to change.
CBS Single Game NFL TV Coverage Map
- Red: Seattle Seahawks at Baltimore Ravens
Jim Nantz and Tony Romo - Blue: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans
Ian Eagle and Charles Davis - Yellow: Chicago Bears at New Orleans Saints
Andrew Catalon, Tiki Barber, and Matt Ryan - Brown: Arizona Cardinals at Cleveland Browns
Spero Dedes and Adam Archuleta - Green: Indianapolis Colts at Carolina Panthers (Late)
Kevin Harlan and Trent Green
The CBS Week 9 slate is a bit of a mixed bag. There is every chance we could see three one-sided games, but the NFL rarely works like that. The best game of the week is between the Seahawks and the Ravens, so it rightly dominates the CBS single-game coverage map.

The Buccaneers’ game against the Texans could end up being one of the more entertaining, with both teams looking relatively evenly matched. That is the only game you could make a case for deserving more respect on this week’s coverage map.
FOX Early-Game NFL TV Coverage Map
- Red: Los Angeles Rams at Green Bay Packers
Adam Amin and Daryl Johnston - Blue: Washington Commanders at New England Patriots
Kenny Albert and Jonathan Vilma - Green: Minnesota Vikings at Atlanta Falcons
Chris Myers and Mark Schlereth
The early FOX Week 9 NFL coverage map is pretty evenly split between the three games they are broadcasting. None of the three stands out as a must-watch, but they all could be reasonably even contests based on what we’ve seen.
FOX Late-Game NFL TV Coverage Map
- Red: Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles
Kevin Burkhardt and Greg Olsen - Blue: New York Giants at Las Vegas Raiders
Kevin Kugler and Mark Sanchez
It’s no surprise to see the matchup between the Cowboys and Eagles absolutely dominate FOX’s late NFL coverage map for Week 9. That game is only up against the Raiders vs. Giants and Colts vs. Panthers, so expect the majority of America tuned into Lincoln Financial Field.
