Who goes head-to-head in NFL games today? Sunday’s action in Week 8 of the NFL season is packed to the brim, with no teams on a bye this week. With four divisional games, one in-stadium rivalry, and a battle between the top two picks from the 2023 NFL Draft, Week 8 will be filled with exciting action. Here’s how to watch all the action, including the start times, channels, and live stream options.
NFL Games Today: Sunday TV Schedule, Channels, Live Stream Options and More
Week 8’s Sunday slate features 14 matchups starting at 1 p.m. ET. The early part of Sunday’s schedule sees nine games kicking off, with four games scheduled to begin by 4:25 p.m. ET. While Week 7 featured an intriguing nightcap between the Eagles and Dolphins, the Sunday Night Football matchup tonight between the Bears and Chargers is a bit of a letdown.
The NFL keeps the divisional drama up this week with four divisional matchups. However, a lot of attention will go to the first faceoff between rookie QBs Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud after the Panthers and Texans drafted them first and second overall, respectively. Here’s how to watch every game on Sunday.
Los Angeles Rams at Dallas Cowboys
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
The Rams enter Week 8 reeling from a tough loss. The Rams saw WR Cooper Kupp get locked down by the Pittsburgh Steelers as they lost 24-17. Dallas enters the game fresh off the bye week but iron things out to get into the top of the NFC contender discussion.
The Rams are much better than the record shows. While they would like to have the loss to the Patriots back, they have two one-score losses to the Bengals and 49ers and a nine-point loss to the Eagles. All considered Super Bowl contenders. Dallas will need its defense to step up today against a solid offensive attack from the Rams.
Kupp is averaging 17.4 yards per reception, while rookie WR Puka Nacua is averaging 13 yards a catch this season. The Cowboys allow 14.9 yards per reception to WRs in 2023, the fourth-worst in the NFL. If the Cowboys can’t slow down one of Nacua or Kupp, Dallas’ offense will be forced to keep up, which hasn’t gone well this season.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
These two franchises have gone in complete opposite directions since Week 3. After dropping the first three clashes of the season, the Vikings have gone 3-1 since changing the narrative around the franchise. Meanwhile, after a 2-1 start for Green Bay, the Packers have dropped three in a row with disappointing offensive showings.
This will be the first home game for Green Bay since losing to the Lions in Week 4, and they likely drop back-to-back divisional games in front of the home fans. The offense is not finding success after a hot start from QB Jordan Love.
In the three losses, Love has thrown three touchdowns to six interceptions, as well as getting sacked seven times. With Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores dialing up a stellar game plan right now, it looks like another rough outing for the Packers’ offense today.
Atlanta Falcons at Tennessee Titans
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
Even with the bye week, the Titans will be without QB Ryan Tannehill today, as the veteran is still sidelined with a right high ankle sprain. Head coach Mike Vrabel said in his place, the Titans would be utilizing some combo of QBs Malik Willis and Will Levis against the Falcons. While it’s a rough position, a look throughout the years has shown that the dual-qb strategy doesn’t work in the NFL.

This means Atlanta has zero reason to drop this contest this week. The Titans’ defense is built to get picked apart by the passing game. While QB Desmond Ridder has been improving every week, if there was ever a game for the Falcons’ passing offense to light up, it’s today. The Titans have allowed 281.5 receiving yards per game since 2022, the worst in the NFL.
If the Falcons can’t get the passing game going, it’s not a good sign for the future.
New Orleans Saints at Indianapolis Colts
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
Indianapolis shocked the NFL last week despite the loss after dropping 38 points on the best defense in the league without rookie QB Anthony Richardson. Meanwhile, the Saints lost a close one against the Jaguars on Thursday Night Football but saw an improved performance from RB Alvin Kamara.
Will first-year HC Shane Steichen do the unthinkable in back-to-back weeks? The Saints still boast one of the best defensive units in the league despite losing some key pieces this past offseason. The deciding factor here will be the Saints continuing to put things together on offense. The improved performance from Kamara was a good sign, but the rest of the unit has to join in.
New England Patriots at Miami Dolphins
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
The Patriots pulled off an improbable win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 7 after some dismal offensive performances in the previous weeks. However, that game should be more about the Bills underperforming than the Patriots getting things right offensively. Yes, the unit looked cohesive, but can they keep up with Miami’s speed?
New England would be in a much better position if the defense looked like it did in Week 2. However, with quite a bit of talent on the sideline, the Dolphins should have no issues matching the 24 points from the first matchup. Will Mac Jones be able to show up two weeks in a row for the Patriots’ offense?
New York Jets at New York Giants
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
Who’s ready for the in-stadium showdown? While the Chargers and Rams went head-to-head earlier in the year, it’s time for the battle at MetLife Stadium between the Jets and Giants.
The Giants will have QB Tyrod Taylor start for the third week as Daniel Jones remains sidelined with a neck injury. The Giants offense has looked better under Taylor, but that’s due to taking care of the ball. Meanwhile, 2023 has turned around for the Jets as Zach Wilson gets more comfortable with every start. After going 1-3, the Jets have back-to-back wins with a chance to get over .500. A win in Week 8 would go a long way for the Jets.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Pittsburgh Steelers
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
The Jaguars are riding a four-game win streak that started in the first London game. The offense is rolling, and Doug Pederson’s crew has shaken off the early season jitters. Meanwhile, the Steelers keep winning games in spite of their offense.
Something has to give for Pittsburgh, as they aren’t playing sustainable football. Teams cannot survive when the offense averages less than 20 points a game. While HC Mike Tomlin wouldn’t say goodbye to a coordinator midseason, it’s clear Matt Canada is not the answer to run this offense.
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Commanders
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
The next divisional matchup of the day features an NFC East rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders at FedEx Field. Since last season, these two teams have matched up so well in their divisional battles. Washington halted the Eagles’ undefeated start last season and took them to overtime in Week 4.
However, things seem to be a bit different this week. The amount of sacks QB Sam Howell has taken this season is astronomical. Through seven games, the QB has been sacked 40 times and is on pace to shatter the record for most times sacked in a season. Philadelphia got home five times in Week 4. They should easily match that, if not surpass it.
With QB Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ offense taking care of business, Philadelphia should sweep the season series.
Houston Texans at Carolina Panthers
- Start time: 1 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
While the records aren’t the best between these two teams, it’s the first matchup between the first two picks of the 2023 NFL Draft, Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud.

The Texans look nothing like seasons past, with a 3-3 record in 2023. C.J. Stroud has solidified his position in the Offensive Rookie of the Year running, and the defense is slowly starting to take form under HC DeMeco Ryans.
Meanwhile, Carolina is still searching for its first win as the youth of this roster continues to struggle. Young has started to improve, but the Panthers lack the weapons to be an actual threat. Carolina will have many questions to answer ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Cleveland Browns at Seattle Seahawks
- Start time: 4:05 p.m. ET
- Channel: FOX
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FOX Now
Times are strange for Cleveland. After playing in the first three weeks, Deshaun Watson has missed the last three games and will miss Week 8. PJ Walker will get his third start under center, but they have a tough matchup against the Seahawks.
Seattle sits at 4-2 with an impressive résumé in 2023. HC Pete Carroll and QB Geno Smith are proving last season was not a fluke. While both offenses are banged up, the Seahawks have fewer concerns with their QB1 starting. While it may be close and low-scoring, finding points won’t be easy for the Browns.
Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos
- Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
The last divisional matchup of the day features an AFC West battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos. For the first time in his career, QB Patrick Mahomes has a defense rated in the top 10 for DVOA. Despite the inconsistency at wide receiver, RB Isaiah Pacheco has picked up some slack while TE Travis Kelce continues his 2023 “Stadiums Tour.”
The Broncos played the Chiefs somewhat close in Week 6 but could only muster eight points. With the Chiefs’ offense getting better and better each week as the receivers and Mahomes mesh, Denver should be preparing for what moves they will make between now and Tuesday during the Sean Payton fire sale.
Baltimore Ravens at Arizona Cardinals
- Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
Baltimore had the most impressive game last week, hammering the red-hot Detroit Lions 38-6. While Lamar Jackson has done almost everything he can this season, his receivers finally returned the favor. Jackson was perfect in Week 7, completing 21 of 27 passes for 357 yards and three touchdowns. He also punched one in on the ground. When the Ravens play to their potential, they are one of the most fearsome teams in the league.
Meanwhile, it seems the Arizona Cardinals flame is dimming. Far too many rosters outmatch this squad that doesn’t have the pieces to keep up with the best in the NFL. Even more interesting is that QB Kyler Murray has returned from his injury and practiced all week, yet the Cardinals will likely keep him on the sideline. Is a blockbuster trade in the works?
Cincinnati Bengals at San Francisco 49ers
- Start time: 4:25 p.m. ET
- Channel: CBS
- Live stream options: Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, CBS All-Access
The Bengals are back and have a chance to get over .500 today. While the concerns earlier in the season were justified, given the state of Joe Burrow’s calf, the injury seems like an afterthought now with all the offensive success.
On the other hand, the 49ers’ hot start has come to a screeching halt after losing the last two weeks. While part of that is due to injuries, QB Brock Purdy has finally looked human under center as the 49ers offense has struggled a bit.
While San Francisco will have Purdy after clearing concussion protocol, the QB has been limited at practice all week. WR Deebo Samuel will miss his second game, while LT Trent Williams was banged up last week as well. With two strong defenses going head-to-head, which offense will find the holes?
Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Chargers
- Start time: 8:20 p.m. ET
- Channel: NBC
- Live stream options: Peacock
This clash feels like a letdown after the marquee matchup between the Dolphins and Eagles last week. Bears rookie QB Tyson Bagent played well in Justin Fields’ stead, leading Chicago to a 30-12 victory over the Raiders. Meanwhile, the Chargers were at the wrong end of a Kelce drubbing.
It’s do-or-die time for Los Angeles. The Chargers are 2-4, and while QB Justin Herbert has struggled the last couple of games, the blame lies entirely on the defense. HC Brandon Staley is supposed to be a defensive-minded head coach. However, the Chargers have the worst passing defense in the league, allowing 310 passing yards per game. If Los Angeles loses again, it would not be a surprise to see Staley be the first coach fired in 2023.
