The Cincinnati Bengals returned to work Monday after their bye week, holding an hour-long walkthrough. Left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. was not present for the portion open to the media.
Brown aggravated a groin injury in the second half of the Oct. 8 win against the Seahawks and was replaced by Cody Ford late in the third quarter. Brown had been on the injury report with a groin injury leading up to the Oct. 1 Arizona game. He was limited in the Wednesday practice that week but was a full participant on Thursday and Friday, playing every snap against the Cardinals.

Who Was Missing From Bengals Practice Monday?
Bengals head coach Zac Taylor is scheduled to hold a news conference later this afternoon, so we should know more about Brown’s status after that. But Taylor had said last week before the team left for the off week that Brown was considered day to day.

Brown never left the field after coming out of the Seattle game, remaining on the sideline and talking with Ford, whom he also played with in Kansas City last weekend.

The only other player not present during the portion of practice open to the media was linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither, who has missed the last three games with a knee injury. Taylor described Davis-Gaither as week to week.
Rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones, who is on the injured reserve after having thumb surgery, continues to work on the side with director of rehab Nick Cosgray. Jones is eligible to return for the Nov. 5 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Update 2:30 p.m. ET: Brown said today was just an extra rest day and that he thinks he will be good to go Sunday against Nick Bosa and the 49ers.
