What Are the Current NFL Standings for Each Division?

    AFC East

The AFC East had one of the more surprising games of this young season in Week 7 when the Patriots defeated the Buffalo Bills. The Bills now remain one game behind the Dolphins for the top spot in the division. With a loss on Sunday Night Football, the crown for the AFC East remains a two-horse race.

    AFC North

The AFC North is one of the tightest in the NFL. The leaders of the clubhouse right now are the Ravens with five wins. The Browns and Steelers are one game behind. And although they are close to each other with their records, the Ravens clearly look like they are in a class of their own.

    AFC South

With the Colts losing Anthony Richardson for the rest of the season, the AFC South might be locked up at this point. The Jaguars currently have five wins, putting them up two or three over everyone else.

The darkhorse team in this division? The Texans at 3-3. C.J. Stroud has looked amazing and is leading a young Texans team to compete each week.

    AFC West

The AFC West is the same AFC West we’ve seen for a few years now — Chiefs at the top, with the Raiders and Chargers in the mix. But with their sixth win of the season and it being over the Chargers, the Chiefs might have already taken a stranglehold on this one. The Broncos, meanwhile, remain one of the worst teams in the NFL.

    NFC East

The NFC East is another division that is close. The Eagles lead, with the Cowboys trying to keep pace. The Commanders and Giants played each other in Week 7, with New York getting its second win of the season.

    NFC North

The NFC North looks very different from years past, with the Detroit Lions holding a commanding three-game lead. However, they suffered a massive loss to the Ravens in Week 7, 38-6.

The Vikings are riding high after beating the 49ers during Monday Night Football. Will that be enough to keep them competitive in the NFC North?

    NFC South

The NFC South is interesting. The Falcons and Buccaneers faced off in Week 7, with Atlanta coming away with the win. That now makes them the division leaders, but they are only up one over Tampa Bay and New Orleans.

    NFC West

The 49ers currently lead the NFC West but are followed closely by the Seahawks. After two straight losses, should Brock Purdy and Co. be worried moving forward?
