Week 7 is upon us in fantasy football, and many managers are looking to look for guys who will step up and make plays.
This season has been a little more wild than normal, as we have seen a little bit of everything. We have seen stars struggle, stars be the players we thought they were, and players absolutely burst onto the scene and get off to historic starts.
DJ Moore and Zay Flowers are two guys who have had some big weeks, but which of the two receivers should fantasy managers have in their lineup?

DJ Moore’s Fantasy Outlook This Week
It was only two games ago when Moore had a monster outing against the Washington Commanders. He finished with eight catches for 230 yards and three touchdowns. He has been very good this year, as he has three games of at least 104 yards, showing he has a high ceiling.

If Moore’s QB, Justin Fields, was playing in this game, then this would be a potentially perfect matchup for Moore. However, with Fields out, the Bears will be putting rookie Tyson Bagent under center against the Las Vegas Raiders. This is a problem if you’re a fantasy manager with Moore on your team.
To expect Moore to go out and have a big game with a rookie making his first start will be tough. There is a good chance Moore gets a good amount of targets, but explosive plays may be tough to come by in this game.
Zay Flowers’ Fantasy Outlook This Week
Flowers has quickly become a popular target for Lamar Jackson and scored his first career touchdown last week against the Tennessee Titans. He is getting a good amount of looks for a rookie, averaging eight targets per game.
He has had three games this year with at least 10 targets and is by far the leading receiver on the Ravens. The Lions enter this game ranked 18th in passing defense, allowing 221.2 yards per game.
Detroit is the best team in the league when it comes to stopping the run, allowing only 64.7 yards. The defensive line is a strong point for the Lions, and they will be looking to get after Jackson. If the Ravens defense can hold up, Flowers could be in line for a solid game.
Which of the Two Wide Receivers Should You Start?
Pro Football Network’s Start/Sit Optimizer says Flowers is the player to start. His 14.1 points include a projection of seven catches and 60 yards. Moore, on the other hand, is projected to post 11.4 points, four catches, and 51 yards.

This is a very close one, but I am going with the Start/Sit Optimizer. Moore has been impressive this year for the Bears, but playing without Fields is a large task for any of the Bears’ offensive players. The Ravens-Lions game could be one of the best games this weekend and one of the highest-scoring contests.
Flowers is the play this weekend; don’t be shocked if he ends up scoring another touchdown.
