During the play, Johnson got rolled up on under several players after a short run from D’Andre Swift with 8:41 left in the quarter. He was ruled out of the game, and Jack Driscoll took his place at right tackle.
On Monday, it was reported that an MRI showed Johnson appears to have suffered a lateral ankle sprain. His status is in doubt, and it is not believed to be a long-term injury.
The All-Pro right tackle has been a key piece of the Eagles’ offensive line this season and holds one of the longest active streaks without allowing a sack.
The Eagles are currently on the hunt to be the last remaining undefeated team in the league at the conclusion of Week 6, as the 49ers lost to the Browns earlier today.
