The Green Bay Packers‘ passing offense has slowed down after a fast start, with Jordan Love experiencing some growing pains in his first season as the full-time starting quarterback.
Should you look to trade either Christian Watson or Romeo Doubs off your fantasy football team to get out of this struggling Green Bay passing game? Let’s take a closer look.

Should You Trade Christian Watson?
Watson had a ton of hype heading into the fantasy football draft season. Honestly, he flashed a ton of fantasy potential with his vertical speed and dynamic playmaking ability after the catch.
Unfortunately, he suffered a hamstring injury heading into the season opener, which cost him the first three games of the season.
His 2023 debut was underwhelming to say the least, catching just two passes for 25 yards. But many chalked that up to his limited snap count in his first game from injury.
Well, after posting just one catch for five yards in the first half of the Packers’ matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday Night Football, some managers may be looking to get what they can for Watson in a trade.

Personally, I am still a big believer in Watson as a talent and believe once he and Love get on the same page, they should be a productive combination. He should be Love’s top target in the passing game when the team returns from their bye week.

However, if you are determined to get Watson off your roster… I would aim to get a low-end RB2 or WR2 in return for Watson’s perceived ceiling and the draft capital you spent to get him on your roster during your fantasy draft.
Should You Trade Romeo Doubs?
As slow of a start as Watson got off to in the first half against the Raiders, it was still better than Doubs’ first half on MNF.

Doubs failed to catch a pass through the first two quarters, but I would caution against overreacting and selling low on Doubs, who entered the team’s Week 5 matchup seeing 25 targets over the previous two weeks.
While most believe Watson will be Love’s go-to receiver moving forward, Doubs certainly has made a compelling case through the first month of the season to be the top receiver in this Green Bay offense.
Another issue with selling Doubs low would be the concerns about Doubs playing second fiddle to Watson in this Green Bay offense. If you could get an RB2 or WR2 back in return, consider dealing him off your roster. However, the likelihood of someone paying that type of price for Doubs at this moment is meager.
