Tyreek Hill is known for being really fast and having elaborate touchdown celebrations. Early in the third quarter, he lived up to that reputation when he caught a big touchdown pass to extend the Miami Dolphins lead over the New York Giants and jumped up to the stands to celebrate with the fans in attendance.
However, Hill wasn’t looking to celebrate with just any fan, he was looking for his mom to celebrate with. The problem is, the fan in the front row was not having it. As Hill was looking for his mom to give her the touchdown pass he caught, the fan in the front row snagged it and secured the catch instead.
She was not having it and made sure she was going to receive that ball from her son no matter what. What ensued was a funny moment by a mother making sure she secured her son’s gift in front of the world.

Lesson learned — do not step in front of Hill’s mom when her son is trying to give her a football. Family is obviously important to the Hill family, and nothing drove that point home more than this moment caught my CBS cameras after the big score.

You have to respect the fan’s dedication to securing the football. He was not going to be denied the opportunity, but when he was met with the wrath of a mother, he was ultimately no match on this day.
All’s Well That Ends Well
All looks to be settled as the fan would give her the ball after a quick verbal lashing, and it looks like it can be water under the bridge as the Dolphins continue their offensive domination against the Giants and the rest of the league.
Hill was asked post-game about the situation and let everyone know that “nobody messes with mama.”

I’m sure that Hill will provide fans with plenty of other chances to secure a football of their own. However, that one belonged to his mom, and she would not be denied.
