    Matt Milano Injury Update

    Milano left the field with two trainers after having his right leg bent in a scrum late in the first quarter. Milano was ruled out by the Bills within minutes of leaving the field.

    Milano suffered the injury with 7:50 left in the first quarter on a third-down stop while trying to get to quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Milano was carted to the locker room and had an air cast on his leg.

    After the game, Bills coach Sean McDermott said both Milano and Jones’ injuries are “not looking good.”

    It was later reported that Milano has suffered a fractured leg and could have a season-ending knee injury.

    Before departing the game, Milano had three tackles. Dorian Williams came off the bench to replace him in the lineup.

    The seventh-year linebacker fills a key role on the Buffalo defense. Milano has amassed 30 tackles, two interceptions, and a forced fumble so far this season.

    Two other players on the Bills’ defense left the game in the first quarter as defensive tackle DaQuan Jones and defensive end Kingsley Jonathan were injured in Buffalo’s first two possessions.
