Examining if Jaguars’ Josh Allen Has Ties to Bills’ Josh Allen
No, there’s no relation between the two.

The Bills quarterback has several siblings. He’s one of four kids, with a younger brother and two sisters. All the Allen kids attended Firebaugh High School, where Josh was a standout three-sport star in football, basketball, and baseball.
And like the Bills’ superstar, the pass rusher for the Jags is one of many brothers and sisters. The Jaguars’ Josh Allen has a twin brother named Isaiah. He and his twin have four older sisters. One of his sisters is WNBA star Myisha Hines-Allen of the Washington Mystics.
How Have Both Allen’s Fared in the League?
The quarterback has emerged as one of the league’s more popular players, from his QB performance to his commercial appearances.
The Bills’ passer has put together three consecutive 4,000-yard seasons and a pair of Pro Bowl campaigns. And Allen has turned Buffalo into a perennial playoff contender with three straight appearances in the NFL playoffs.
The Jaguars’ edge rusher, though, has become a standout in his own right. He earned his first Pro Bowl appearance in his rookie season with 10.5 sacks. In the last two seasons, he’s produced seven sacks.
But so far in 2023, Allen has skyrocketed to six sacks in four games, putting him on pace to shatter his personal best. He’s tied with T.J. Watt of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Khalil Mack of the Los Angeles Chargers for the league lead in sacks.
