Bears vs. Commanders Top TNF DFS Picks on DraftKings
Justin Fields, QB, Chicago Bears ($16,500) – Captain
Justin Fields is coming off a career day with 335 passing yards and four touchdown passes against the Denver Broncos in Week 4.
Fields looked comfortable, played on time, and made a handful of exceptional throws against the Broncos.

Unfortunately, his two turnovers contributed to the Broncos’ comeback to help keep the Bears winless in the young season.
While Fields could be under duress from a talented Commanders front — who have generated 13 sacks through the first four games — he still possesses the highest fantasy ceiling of anyone in this contest with his dynamic ability as a dual-threat option under center.
DJ Moore, WR, Chicago Bears ($10,000)
As rough as the Bears passing offense has looked at times this season, DJ Moore still had a pair of 100-yard receiving performances to go with two TD receptions through the first month of the season.

Moore draws a matchup against Commanders rookie cornerback Emmanuel Forbes, who was just torched by Philadelphia Eagles WR A.J. Brown to the tune of nine receptions for 175 yards and two scores.
If Forbes’ struggles continue into Week 5, then it could be another big game for Moore against the Commanders.
Brian Robinson, RB, Washington Commanders ($9,200)
The Commanders’ rushing attack has been mostly dominated by Brian Robinson through the first month of the 2023 season. For some context, Robinson has 61 carries to Antonio Gibson’s 13 through four games.
In addition, Robinson is the only Commanders RB to find the end zone this season, finding pay dirt on four different occasions this season, which leads the team by a wide margin.
The Bears have still had some issues slowing down opposing rushing games in 2023, which could lead to an efficient day at the office for the Commanders’ leading rusher.
Equanimeous St. Brown, WR, Chicago Bears ($1,800)
Bears head coach Matt Eberflus has already informed us that WR Chase Claypool isn’t present at team facilities and won’t be available for the Thursday Night Football matchup against the Commanders.
When Claypool was a healthy scratch last week, Equanimeous St. Brown saw the field for the first time this season and played 58% of the offensive snaps.
While his one reception for 21 yards didn’t move the fantasy needle very much in Week 4, if he can see a similar snap share and more looks in the passing game, he could be someone who helps get your lineup over the top because of his low usage rate in this DFS contest.
Washington Commanders Defense ($5,400)
Good things happen for your fantasy defense when young quarterbacks hold the football too long. While Fields is the captain of this fantasy DFS lineup, he has been sacked 17 times, which is the third-most in the league. Part of the reason Fields is getting sacked so much is how long he holds onto the football.
Among the quarterbacks who have started every game this season, Fields is tied with Russell Wilson for the longest amount of time between taking the snap and throwing the ball in the NFL at 2.7 seconds.
I expect Fields to be productive, but I still expect him to take some sacks this week when he faces off against Chase Young, Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne, and Montez Sweat.
Chicago Bears Defense ($4,000)
Good things happen for your fantasy defense when young quarterbacks hold the football too long.

Remember those stats I brought up Fields holding the ball too long and taking a lot of sacks?
Well, the same applies to Commanders quarterback Sam Howell.
Howell has been sacked more than any quarterback in the league — 24 times, to be exact — through the first four games of the season.
In addition, he is holding the ball for an average of 2.6 seconds before he either throws the ball or gets pressure … which is just a 10th of a second faster than Fields.
While I’ve been pretty encouraged by what I’ve seen from Howell this season, he is still a young quarterback who gets himself into trouble on a regular basis, which should be the case on a handful of occasions against the Bears on Thursday night.
