Top MNF DFS Picks on DraftKings for Week 4
Geno Smith, QB, Seattle Seahawks ($15,000) – Captain
After a slow start to the season against the Los Angeles Rams, Geno Smith has looked far more like the quarterback who came out of nowhere to surprise the fantasy football world last season over the last two weeks.
He’s averaged 312 yards passing and has thrown for three touchdowns over the last two weeks. He appears to be clicking once again with his top targets of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.
Sure, the game script could be a factor if the New York Giants offense continues to struggle without running back Saquon Barkley, but Smith should be able to get his through the air against the Giants in Week 4.
DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks ($8,800)
Speaking of Metcalf, he has seen his yardage production climb in three consecutive weeks.
- Week 1: 47 yards
- Week 2: 75 yards
- Week 3: 112 yards
This trend could continue against a Giants secondary that got tuned up by quarterback Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers to the tune of 310 yards through the air in Week 3.
Not to mention, I don’t see a corner on the Giants roster that I believe will slow down Metcalf on MNF. Expect another productive week from Metcalf in Week 4.
Darren Waller, TE, New York Giants ($7,000)
The Giants’ passing game has looked rough for 10 of the 12 quarters played in the 2023 NFL season.
Darren Waller easily posted his worst game of the 2023 campaign against the 49ers in Week 3, producing just 20 yards on three receptions in the blowout loss to San Francisco.
While the Giants offense could struggle again without Saquon out of the lineup again this week, Waller could see plenty of work if the game script sees them fall behind by multiple scores for a fourth consecutive week.
Except this time, the Seattle Seahawks‘ defense has been a tad bit more generous to opposing tight ends than the Niners’ defense last week.
Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seattle Seahawks ($3,400)
While Kenneth Walker III has been very productive over the last two games, Zach Charbonnet has quietly been getting more involved in this offense on a weekly basis.
- Week 1: Three carries for 11 yards
- Week 2: Four carries for 16 yards & two receptions for 14 yards
- Week 3: Nine carries for 46 yards & one reception for -1 yard.
Sure, Walker will cap his fantasy ceiling as long as he continues to see the bulk of the work out of this backfield, but Charbonnet is starting to prove he can be productive in a complementary role.
If his role continues to expand, then he could be an option with low ownership in this MNF DFS slate.
Kenneth Walker III, RB, Seattle Seahawks ($10,800)
It is not often I find myself stacking the same backfield in DFS, but certain exceptions can be made when the situation calls for it.
Walker scored four rushing touchdowns over the past two games and he has seen his efficiency top five yards per carry in, two out of his three games this season.

Another encouraging bit of unexpected production from Walker has come from his contributions as a pass catcher. Last week, he caught all three of his targets for 59 yards.
In a game where the game script could produce another busy day for Walker on the ground, expect him to continue to produce against the Giants in Week 4.
Seahawks Defense ($4,400)
The Seahawks defense is quietly starting to get a bit healthier in the secondary and should welcome back safety Jamal Adams and cornerback Riq Woolen into the fold this week. Sure, the Seahawks offense hasn’t looked great this season, but they’ve shown more signs of life than the Saquon-less Giants offense we saw last week.
Daniel Jones now has two games this season where he has thrown for less than 150 yards and at least one interception with no scores.
This is more of a play against the struggling Giants offense than confidence in the Seahawks’ defense.
