Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets: Same Game Parlay Picks and Predictions

Instead of a game featuring two future Hall of Famers, we have a potentially one-sided affair. Where do the same game parlay picks find an edge?

Same game parlay picks require you to tell a story, but the sportsbooks are telling the same story you’re inclined to tell. That requires us to get creative in an effort to get value on betting lines that lean toward a convincing Chiefs win.

Our Betting Lines page has the freshest lines and promos to get BANG for your buck. PFN’s FREE Parlay Calculator and Betting Odds Calculator are also available for your betting process! We here at Soppe HQ like to encourage responsible gambling, and in that vein, I’ll always offer you a trivia question off the top of these articles. Pose this question to a buddy you are watching the game with: answer correctly, and you pay for the SGP; misfire, and he/she is on the hook.

Trivia Question: It’s been a while since the Chiefs lost a Week 4 game. Three players in their last Week 4 loss had 70 receiving yards. Can you name any of them (hint: the game was in 2016 against the Steelers)?

Remember that every game is its own entity. In my opinion, the London game presented a path to a juicy ticket in rather short order due to the projected competitive nature of the game. We don’t have that benefit on Sunday night, but I’m a man of the people, and if you read until the end, I’ll give you reasonable ways to get exposure to a big ticket.

The Chiefs have, at large, been successful in opening games, something that tracks given Andy Reid’s game-planning strengths. Here are the first-half numbers in recent seasons with the NFL rank next to them for context:

    • 2021: 15.5 PPG (second)
    • 2022: 15.5 (second)
    • 2023: 18.3 (second)

The Jets have scored 10 points over the past six quarters, making a halftime/full-time leg very live if you don’t want to pay the moneyline price.

With the Jets struggling to score, opposing running backs have been heavily featured with 35+ carries in consecutive games. To that end, we know that the plan isn’t to pound Jerick McKinnon (three carries this season), and since starting the season opener, Clyde Edwards-Helaire has seen much of his production come in garbage time.

In 11 of Kansas City’s past 13 wins, Isiah Pacheco has cleared 50 rushing yards, a low bar to clear if the volume is even remotely close to what has occurred in Jets games over the past two weeks. I like him in fantasy football this week and will support him in the betting market as well!

    • Trivia Answer: Sammie Coates (79), Jeremy Maclin (78 yards), and Chris Conley (70)
    • Same Game Parlay Pick: Isiah Pacheco 50+ rushing yards, Isaiah Pacheco anytime TD, Chiefs lead at halftime and win
    • Odds: +370 (at DraftKings)

Let’s say you’re operating with some money in your pocket, courtesy of a big day from the PFN betting podcast. If you want to play this lower-risk SGP by itself and then play it with one more leg to add upside to your portfolio, here are some options (odds listed reflect the SGP from above with the single leg mentioned added to the ticket):

    • Both teams to score 10 points: +550 (at DraftKings); the Bears got there last week against the Chiefs.
    • Jets to score the final points: +1200 (at DraftKings); if this game is effectively over after three quarters, this becomes interesting and could potentially be hedged midgame if need be.
    • Pacheco first TD: +1292 (at FanDuel); if this hits, you’re sitting pretty with the rest.
