This is Burrow’s first full practice since the Friday walkthrough before the Week 2 game against the Ravens, which is when he tweaked the injury late in the 27-24 loss.
The decision to limit today’s work to a simple walkthrough was player-based to give them another day of recovery after the Monday night game.
“This is the schedule we feel the most comfortable with in giving our players an extra day’s rest,” Taylor said. ”
The decision to hold it at 4:45 p.m., as opposed to the usual 1:30 start time, was coach-based.
“More opportunity to game plan,” Taylor said. “More thinking about the coaches than the players on that one. We could be going right at 1:30, and it’d make no difference to them because it’s a walkthrough. This gives the coaches more time to make their cutups and scripts and stuff like that.”
