Army defensive lineman Andre “Dre” Miller suffered an injury in the fourth quarter against Syracuse that required him to be stabilized and carted off the field. A 6’3″, 270-pound defender, Miller is a junior and a possible 2025 NFL Draft prospect.
In his career, Miller has three tackles across three games. The Savannah, Georgia native logged his first two tackles in this season’s debut matchup against Louisiana-Monroe. The Defense and Strategic Studies major spent the 2020 season at USMAPS.
Army trailed Syracuse 26-10 at the time of the injury and eventually lost 29-16.

The ACC Network reported that Miller was taken to Upstate Medical’s Trauma Center for further evaluation. Army head coach Jeff Monken told Syracuse.com reporter Chris Carlson that Miller was able to speak with coaches and teammates while on the field, and Miller had feeling in his extremities.
On Sunday afternoon, the Army football X account provided an update on Miller, saying he’s been discharged from the hospital and is now back on West Point’s campus. Miller will continue to be under the program’s medical staff and support team.
