Dallas Cowboys Injury Report: Will the Full Starting O-Line Play on Sunday?

What will determine Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz's availability for the Dallas Cowboys' Week 3 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals?

The Dallas Cowboys faced their most immense adversity this season with the loss of Trevon Diggs on Thursday. However, Friday’s injury report shows some defensive reinforcements returning at the right time.

With the defense losing Diggs in the backfield, they have to shift some pieces around quickly.

But the offensive line continues dealing with injuries and two key players within it are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

    Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz

The Cowboys’ offensive line continues to struggle with staying healthy.

However, if Zack Martin and Tyler Biadasz can start this weekend, this would be the first time the team has their starting line this season. But Martin and Biadasz did not participate in practice on Friday and are listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

During a conference call, Mike McCarthy said that Biadasz was sore today and that Saturday’s practice would be a big day for him in determining his availability for Sunday.

McCarthy elaborated on the injury during an interview on 105.3 The Fan, saying, “Talking with the medical staff last night, they think he’ll be ready to go. But when you have these type of things show up late like they do, the next morning is obviously an important evaluation. But they were not of high concern last night.”

Biadasz popped up on the injury report on Thursday and underwent an MRI on his hamstring after practice to evaluate the extent of the injury.

As for Martin, McCarthy said he is getting better, and they want to see him at full speed on Saturday to assess where he is to determine his availability for Sunday as well.

On Thursday, Martin worked exclusively with Britt Brown.

Martin rolled his ankle during Sunday’s game against the Jets and did not participate in practice all week.

    Donovan Wilson

It seems that Donovan Wilson could finally take the field for the first time this season on Sunday.

Wilson was a full participant all week at practice, including Friday.

This is the first week since Wilson’s calf injury that he has a more regular practice routine.

Wilson has been dealing with a calf strain since the first day of training camp in July. Nonetheless, the safety looks ready to return to the three-headed monster safety room.

Brandin Cooks, Tyler Smith, Chuma Edoga, and Jayron Kearse

Brandin Cooks, Tyler Smith, Chuma Edoga, and Jayron Kearse were all full participants in Friday’s practice, indicating that all three will start on Sunday.

Cooks had two full days of practice this week on Thursday and Friday after missing the Week 2 matchup against the Jets with a knee injury he sustained in Week 1.

Smith has yet to play a regular-season game after injuring his hamstring at practice ahead of the team’s first game against the Giants in Week 1. He was working back into practice all week to ramp up to a return.

As for Edoga, he was also working back in at practice this week. Having him as insurance for the offensive line is the best scenario for everyone, especially if Martin cannot play on Sunday.

As for Kearse, he has been battling an illness that kept him from practicing most of the week. But the status report didn’t list him as questionable or doubtful, indicating that he should return on Sunday.
