What Time Is the NFL Game Tonight? Browns vs. Steelers Channel, Live Stream Options for Monday Night Football in Week 2

What time is the second NFL game tonight? Here's the Monday Night Football start time for the second game of the Week 2 doubleheader.

While the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers will get things started on Monday Night Football in Week 2, the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers will keep the NFL party going when they kick off in Acrisure Stadium.

The Browns got a massive Week 1 divisional win over the Cincinnati Bengals despite a mediocre performance from the offense. A win over the Steelers in Week 2 would not only make them 2-0 for the 2023 season but undefeated in the AFC North. Here’s the Monday Night Football start time for the second game of ESPN’s doubleheader, as well as the TV channels and live stream options.

What Time Does the Second Monday Night Football Game Start?

While the first Monday Night Football doubleheader of 2023 is a product of ESPN, the second game will be broadcast on ESPN’s sister channel, ABC, under the Disney umbrella.

The Browns secured a surprising and dominating 24-3 Week 1 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. QB Deshaun Watson had a pedestrian day, completing 16 of 29 passes for 154 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.

However, Cleveland’s prolific rushing game showed up yet again as Nick Chubb turned 18 carries into 106 yards, and the team combined for 206 yards on 40 carries.

Cleveland RBs have rushed for 10+ yards on 138 of their 891 carries since the start of the 2021 season, the most in the NFL. The Steelers had a rough 2023 debut, getting destroyed by the San Francisco 49ers 30-7.

Pittsburgh watched RB Christian McCaffery rush 22 times for 152 yards and a touchdown. Chubb can easily take advantage of the same weaknesses the 49ers found in Week 1.

While the loss of WR Amari Cooper hurts, leaning on the run game and letting Watson get comfortable can let the Browns find a way to secure a 2-0 lead in the AFC North.

Eventually, Watson is going to have to earn his five-year, $230 million contract. Matching Baltimore’s 2-0 2023 start is the perfect opportunity to show Cleveland he’s the answer to the franchise’s questions under center.
