With the Las Vegas Raiders trailing 38-10 late in the fourth quarter, Jimmy Garoppolo took a shot downfield into triple coverage to Davante Adams. The pass was jumped by one Buffalo Bills defensive back, but another, Taylor Rapp, seized an opportunity to annihilate Davante Adams.
Davante Adams Injury Update
Adams was slow to get up after taking a shot to the head and neck area. Rapp was flagged for unnecessary roughness on the play.
Adams was initially taken to the blue medical tent, but he then went to the Raiders’ locker room just before the two-minute warning.
Las Vegas quickly announced Adams was being evaluated for a concussion.

If Adams did suffer a concussion, he’d have to clear the NFL’s protocols in time for next week. The Raiders will play the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday Night Football in Week 3.
Adams finished Week 2 with six receptions for 84 yards and a score. He would represent a tremendous loss if he can’t go against the Steelers next week.
Fortunately, Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels said Monday that Adams is “good” following his Week 2 injury.
Raiders head coach Josh McDaniels says WR Davante Adams is "good" after taking a huge hit yesterday.
Meanwhile, WR Jakobi Meyers is "headed in the right direction" as he progresses through the concussion protocol.

The Raiders didn’t have Jakobi Meyers against the Bills Sunday after he suffered a concussion in Week 1. Hopefully, Meyers will be available for Week 3 alongside Adams.
Fantasy Football Fallout From Adams’ Injury
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams went to the injury tent after a big hit in the fourth quarter of their Week 2 matchup against Buffalo. Adams registered six receptions for 84 yards and a score prior to his exit.
If Adams is unavailable for the rest of the game, Hunter Renfrow is likely to see the biggest bump in fantasy value for the remainder of their contest against the Bills.
