Fantasy Kicker Streamers and Rankings Week 3: Targets Include Jake Moody and Riley Patterson

There is no need to stay married to a kicker for the entire fantasy football season. Here are the best streaming kickers for Week 3.

If you attacked your fantasy football draft correctly, your kicker should have been a later-round pick. We all know the security that a Justin Tucker can bring you, but even Tucker is human — he missed a 59-yard field goal in Week 2.

It is perfectly acceptable to stream your kicker every week, but to do so effectively, you must consider matchups, offenses, and even weather or location. Take a look at our fantasy kicker rankings and streaming options for Week 3.

Top Kicker Streamers for Week 3

All of the kicker streamers listed below are available in 50% of Yahoo leagues.

Jake Moody, SF (vs. NYG) – 46% rostered

Two weeks in, and the San Francisco 49ers offense is clearly legit. Throw in the fact that the Niners are playing the New York Giants, and they should have a delightful day offensively against a New York team that does not look good.

You always want a kicker on a good offense, and Jake Moody is just that. He scored 14 fantasy points during Week 1 against Pittsburgh and 13 against Los Angeles in Week 2.

Riley Patterson, DET (vs. ATL) – 49% rostered

High-powered offense — check. Playing in a dome — double-check. The Detroit LionsRiley Patterson’s ownership has steadily been rising, but he is still just under 50%. You know the Lions are going to move the ball, so you can bank on at least a few extra points and, hopefully, a field goal or two to put the icing on the cake.

Greg Joseph, MIN (vs. LAC) – 14% rostered

The Minnesota VikingsGreg Joseph didn’t do much for you the first two weeks of the season, but Minnesota returns home, and Joseph will be back to kicking in a dome in Week 3.

Minnesota’s offense looked great in Week 2, and Joseph got unlucky in that he only had to kick extra points instead of field goals. At 14% rostered, there is a good chance he is on your waiver wire.
