Cincinnati Bengals Practice Report and Injury Update: Joseph Ossai Questionable to Make Season Debut

The biggest question remaining for the Cincinnati Bengals will be the status of defensive end Joseph Ossai, who returned to practice this week.

For the second consecutive Friday, the Cincinnati Bengals moved their Friday practice from the indoor facility to the outdoor fields, with the weather being similar to the forecast on game day.

Fifty-two of the 53 players on the active roster practiced in some capacity, and the Bengals are listing three of them as questionable for the home opener against the Ravens.

How Healthy Are the Bengals Going Into Week 2?

Kick returner and backup running Chris Evans was the only player who didn’t practice Thursday, sitting out with a hamstring injury. He returned today but was limited and joins defensive end Joseph Ossai and linebacker Markus Bailey as those with a “questionable” designation for Sunday.

Bailey suffered a knee injury in practice Thursday and was the only player who didn’t practice today. Ossai was limited all three days this week.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor said they are going to give Ossai and Evans another 24 hours and should know by Saturday whether they will be good to go. Bailey, who primarily plays on special teams, sounds more like a game-time decision.
