Miami Dolphins Practice and Injury Report: Encouraging Raheem Mostert, Terron Armstead News

The Miami Dolphins injury report is trending in the right direction this week, meaning they could be as healthy as they've been in some time in Week 2.

Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert was a full participant at practice Thursday after missing Wednesday with what the team listed as a knee injury.

But that was just part of the encouraging news from Dolphins camp ahead of Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots. We go through it all in our Thursday Miami Dolphins practice report and injury report.

NFL Network reported Wednesday that Mostert’s Wednesday absence was more a function of rest/veterans’ day off than it was injury. But since he needed treatment, league rules mandated the Dolphins list him on their injury report.

The Thursday injury report will reveal how much practicing he did, but it seems more likely than not that Mostert will play Sunday.

A bigger unknown: Whether Terron Armstead will make his 2023 debut after missing the opener with back, ankle, and knee injuries. Armstead returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since suffering the ankle injury on Aug. 17 and was back out there Thursday.

But there was a significant change: Armstead, per the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, was no longer wearing the red, non-contact jersey. That suggests he responded well to Wednesday’s work.

If he cannot play Sunday in New England, Kendall Lamm is in line to start again. He and Austin Jackson did a fine job in Week 1 against Chargers edge defenders Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.
