Injury Updates for Top Fantasy Football WRs
Davante Adams, Las Vegas Raiders
Adams popped up on the injury report for the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday, missing practice with a foot issue. There was nothing that looked questionable in the team’s win over Denver, so this might have been a precautionary holdout.
With Jakobi Meyers still in concussion protocol, the Raiders desperately need Adams to play this week.
Romeo Doubs, Green Bay Packers
Doubs clocked a limited practice on Wednesday on the heels of a 26-yard, two-TD performance against the Chicago Bears. He seems to be dealing with a hamstring issue.
DeAndre Hopkins, Tennessee Titans
Veteran WR Hopkins did not practice for the Titans on Wednesday with an ankle issue. Hopkins has been prone to ankle issues previously in his career. He finished Week 1 with 65 yards receiving on 13 targets.
Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
It was reported today that Jerry Jeudy was “close” to playing in Week 1 for the Denver Broncos, and he managed a limited practice on Wednesday. It seems hopeful to see Jeudy on the field against the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers
Johnson left the game on Sunday as his team was being thrashed by the 49ers. He went down in the third quarter, grabbing at his hamstring and writhing in pain. It was reported today that he will miss up to four weeks with a hamstring injury. The Steelers will look to George Pickens and perhaps Allen Robinson II to pick up the pieces.

Jakobi Meyers, Las Vegas Raiders
Meyers sustained a tough hit on Sunday versus the Broncos. He was having a fantastic game, with 81 yards through the air and two TDs; he was getting tons of attention from new QB Jimmy Garoppolo. Meyers is currently in the concussion protocol, which he will have to clear if he plans on playing this week against the Buffalo Bills.
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins
Before Week 1, it was reported that Jaylen Waddle had been dealing with an oblique injury. We saw no impact from said injury, and he finished with 78 yards receiving and did not look to be missing a step.

Waddle was limited in Wednesday’s practice and should be monitored, but looks to be trending toward playing.
Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
We have yet to see Watson take the field in the regular season, as he was sidelined with a hamstring injury on Sunday. He did not practice on Wednesday, so it seems like he might have another week on the bench.
