Sean McDermott has been a coach at the NFL level for quite some time. The veteran defensive mind was a coordinator for several seasons before taking the job as the head coach for the Buffalo Bills.
McDermott has turned around a Bills franchise that was previously mired in mediocrity before his arrival. McDermott’s stern approach and the Bills coaching staff’s willingness to embrace offensive ingenuity have spearheaded their revival. Since taking over in 2017, the Bills have made the playoffs in all but one season under McDermott.

Who Is Jamie McDermott?
Jamie is Sean McDermott’s wife. The two met in high school and have been together ever since. The Bills head coach has had a well-publicized battle with skin cancer, and his wife has been by his side throughout the ordeal.

Jamie is 44 years old. The couple grew up in Pennsylvania, attending the same high school, La Salle College High School.
The pair took opposite paths following high school, as Sean began pursuing his degree from William & Mary College in nearby Pittsburgh. Once Sean obtained his degree in finance, he began to pursue coaching gigs in the NFL.
McDermott’s profession as an NFL coach has taken their family to Pennsylvania, where he served as a coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. McDermott would serve as an assistant coach for the Carolina Panthers as well. In 2017, the Bills named him their new head coach.
The couple have three children: two daughters, Maddie and Kelly, and one son, Gavin. The McDermott’s value their privacy and keep their lives removed from social media as much as possible. Jamie doesn’t have any social media accounts.

Jamie spends her time supporting her husband, raising their children, and being a linchpin of the community. Sean has his hands full with his responsibilities to the organization on the football field, and Jamie leads the family relationship and spearheads community involvement.
The McDermott family have taken their relationship with the Bills organization, molded it with their family dynamic, and made it their home.
