Ethics and Standards
It’s no secret that trust is paramount – but it’s something earned not given. As such, the editorial arm of PFN takes a rigorous stance toward our journalistic principles: ensuring factual accuracy, disclosing corrections in the event an error is made, and multi-sourcing stories. Our audience deserves transparent attributions/sourcing and content free from explicit/implicit bias – we understand the responsibility that authority on a subject bestows and strive to catalyze a culture that bolsters respect and professionalism in everything we do.
Our Story
While one co-founder’s obsession with football led him into the world of website creation and coding, the other saw his mother kiss Dan Marino on the cheek at a local shopping mall and, being a young child, thought Marino was going to become his dad (and learned about the game of football like his father/son relationship depended on it).
Matt Cannata and Aaron Sutton created Pro Football Network to broaden and enhance fans’ relationship with football through knowledge and conversation – not sensationalism – as the key cornerstone of enriching football content.
The company has emerged from several chrysalises to adjust to the demands of football fans and the sports media industry as a whole, placing the emphasis on first-class content and intuitive user experience.
Our entire existence is around passionately delivering purposeful, captivating, and exceptional football content that also goes beyond the field where casual and hardcore fans can come together around the sport we collectively love.
With our 100+ years of combined experience, it’s a mission we don’t take lightly and one that we deliver on 365 days of the year, and 366 days when it’s a leap year!
