The NFL season only has four weeks remaining, and team needs are becoming quite obvious. Let’s try to fill those needs with a 2020 NFL Three Round Mock Draft. Please note that the order of this mock draft is based on the current NFL Draft Order as of Sunday, December 8 before games kick off.
At one point of the season, the popular slogan related to the 2020 NFL draft was “Tank for Tua.” Well, an injury-plagued season for Tua Tagovailoa opened up the door for Joe Burrow to become the odds-on favorite to be the first player selected in the draft. Burrow has been sensational in 2019, leading his team to an SEC title, College Football Playoff appearance, and making himself the front-runner for the Heisman trophy. All signs point to the Cincinnati Bengals selecting Burrow with the first overall pick; however, after that, the 2020 NFL Draft becomes quite unpredictable.
One thing is for certain: the 2020 NFL draft wide receivers group might be the best we have ever seen. The group is absolutely loaded, as we could see at least 5 or 6 players selected in the first round. Jerry Jeudy (Alabama) and CeeDee Lamb (Oklahoma) are elite talents, who could make an immediate impact for a team looking to spice up their passing attack.
On most draft analysts’ big boards, Ohio State pass-rushing phenom Chase Young is the best player in the draft. Young has been marvelous in 2019, and his draft stock is at an all-time high. Could he make the Bengals pass on a quarterback with the first overall pick?
At this point, there are more questions than answers; however, I will make an attempt to answer those questions with a 2020 NFL Three Round Mock Draft.
