As we inch toward the new season, the ever-changing NFL landscape has player fantasy values constantly on the move. Whether you’re used to the dynasty platform or are still learning the dynasty rules, let’s dive into the latest dynasty fantasy football value of tight end Mike Gesicki.
Mike Gesicki’s Dynasty Outlook and Value
Dating all the way back to his prospect status before he was drafted, Gesicki was always a t-shirt and shorts superstar. He’s super athletic, but it just didn’t really translate to on-field success.
Gesicki did manage to average between 9.1 fantasy points per game and 10.6 ppg in his second through fourth seasons. However, his production was largely a product of him being the only guy. Once the Miami Dolphins got true wide receivers in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, Gesicki went back to barely being part of the offense.

Last season, Gesicki saw just a 9.7% target share. He ran fewer than 20 routes per game and was targeted on just 15.8% of them. Gesicki averaged 5.8 ppg and was completely off the fantasy radar.
Mike Gesicki’s Fantasy Ranking
There are those out there who think Gesicki could be this year’s Evan Engram. That he’s poised to revive his career as a glorified wide receiver on a new team. I wasn’t sure I bought it before he signed with the New England Patriots. Now, I’m sure, and there’s nothing here.
If you have Gesicki, hopefully, you were able to extract some value out of the uncertainty surrounding where he would sign. Now that he’s with New England, I have very little hope for a career renaissance.
We currently have Gesicki at TE18 (No. 149 overall) in our dynasty Superflex rankings. Personally, I have him much lower than that, as I have zero interest in Gesicki in dynasty startup drafts.
